You could, per the rules, have your Eidolon drop it at the feet of the enemy and do the same (even unsummoning the Eidolon just before the Fireball hits). For extra evil, you could even have Invisibility cast on the necklace just prior to that so the enemy has no idea what's about to hit. That said, those necklaces ain't cheap so you're burning a bit of gold for a one-shot extra DPS.

I play a summoner and have a very silly question:

Our group found an amulet of fireball with beads on it.

Could i, per rules, give it to my Eidolon to wear it, have it charge into the enemy and have our Wizard cast a fireball, in the hopes the amulet fails its save and all remaining fireballs nuke the enemy?

We are soon-ish about to complete the mentioned module 'Down the Blighted Path' and our DM does not know a followup Module for it.

We are a Dwarven Party closing in to level 7.

Hello there, i hope im in the right spot for my question(s).

1) I've picked up the Master Summoner yesterday with a new group and the DM is pretty inexperieced aswell.. I chose the Quadruped base form for my Eidolon and with my 3 Evo points i chose Pounce, Improved Armor and a Tentacle.

Is it correct that the Eidolon can charge 80 feet and then attack with its bite and tentacle (with pounce)? it seems so strong

2) The Master Summoners ability (which is why i chose him) states "Starting at 1st level, a master summoner can cast summon monster I as a spell-like ability [...]"

Does this ability 'evolve' like for a normal summoner? Can i use this ability with Summon Monser II later or is this just Summon Monster I ?
