Lueck steps towards the doru and loosens his net. With a practiced toss, he tries to ensnarl the head.
Net attack (ranged touch), to hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

"Doru Div! Vile genie with the dark soul of a boggard." He glances at the others and says "Black iron will sting it true if you have such with you. Don't let your guard down if it disappears; it can become unseen at will."
"Abominations!" Lueck croaks. He lashes out at the nearest one with his holy axe.
Battleaxe attack to hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20, 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Lueck hops up on the table with a single vertical leap. He moves to the nearest skull and, with an outstretched webbed hand, picks up one of the skulls to examine it more closely.
Does Lueck see any significance to the way the skulls are arranged? Religious, maybe?
Knowledge (arcana) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Knowledge (planes) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Knowledge (religion) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Lueck shakes his head. "Likely a consequence of turning away from the old gods. Hopefully they have found rest."
Heal 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
"I don't think it was the sand creature. The head looks to have been cut off cleanly. As far as I can tell, anyway. It looks as though it happened quite some time ago. I wonder where the head went? I don't see it around here anywhere." CSI: Golarian
Yes, follow Sobek's guidance.
Lueck looks up at the others and says "Sure, let's keep looking around. They don't look like they are going anywhere." Clockwise sweep, as Sobek said. Maybe we'll find a good place to lure and ambush the skeletons as we explore.
Sobekhotep of Tephu wrote: *Shrugs* If you want it, claim it. Otherwise, it will just be sold. Whenever we are given non-standard metal weapons, though, it usually suggests to me that we will need to use it on something soon... I completely agree with both points.
"We shouldn't let a few undead guards deter us. But we should be ready for more to join them from elsewhere when we put them to rest. Unless they bear strange enchantments, we should be able to make short work of the three. If too many more emerge from elsewhere, I'll call on my patron to drive them back until we can safely regroup."
"Well struck!" he tells Diorio.
Inspired by his friend's prowess, Lueck again attacks with his mace.
To hit 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21, damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
"Hold still, you dried out boggard!"
Swings with mace, to hit 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7, damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Lueck darts forward with his mace held high, striking down at the sand creature again.
Swings with mace 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3, damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
"A sand boggart! Break it apart!" Leading by example, Lueck drops his beloved axe and pulls forth a blunt heavy mace.
Swings with mace 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17, damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Well, hello everyone. Good to see the band is getting back together.
When Indus steps out, so does Lueck. Lueck doesn't approach. Instead, he lifts his holy symbol in his hand and looks for any reaction from the spirit.
Lueck notices Seben walking away. He frowns and says "Seben, where are you going? It isn't safe to wander alone." If Seben doesn't stop, Lueck will make sure the others have noticed too, and then follow behind, axe at the ready.
It looks like it will take Indus and Sobek quite some time to clean the shrine. Lueck will keep watch while they are focused on that chore.
At Seben's question, if the pantry door is opened, Lueck casts detect magic and detect poison on the pantry shelves and any contents.
Heal 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
"Poor souls. It looks to have been three of them, humans most likely. It looks as though they may have already been dead when they were dumped in the granary, and then striped to the bone by the scarabs."
Lueck hurls his vial at the swarm and backs away. As he backpedals, his tongue lashes out repeatedly, ineffectually taking out several individual bugs with each strike.
To hit with vial, 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20, damage 1d8 ⇒ 7.
Lueck accepts the flask of fire from Indus. He moves forward to open the granary door once the others acknowledge they are ready.
Same. I'd be glad to borrow one and either pay for it or return it. And do a better job stocking up next time we break from the action.
Lueck used his flask back with the roach swarm, so I don't have anything to help.
Lueck takes a step back when he hears the chittering.
"Maybe we should come back here later?"
Lueck puffs up his chest and says "I got this." The party's only cleric will creep up alone toward the danger, axe at the ready.
Stealth 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Lueck gathers the others around him. "Lady of the Battle, these warriors have been wounded in righteous battle. Mend their wounds so that they may press forward and continue the crusade to restore your glory, and the glory of your peers."

Channel positive energy 1d6 ⇒ 2
One channel remaining. Does anyone have any injuries beyond that?
Seben-en-Ra wrote: I'm indifferent if anyone else feels differently, but we may as well keep going in order, which would suggest the larger structure in the top right, the North East building - the guard/servant quarters, I think.
I agree. Outbuildings first, then the main structure.
Lueck does not hesitate. He leaps upon the chest of his fallen ally with his bronze axe raised high in both hands!
To hit 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21, Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
"Yes. Here, let's check this outbuilding, then we can move away from this area."
Referring to the outbuilding right to the south of us. Lueck will keep a close eye on the shadows Sobek indicated the snake rested, axe in hand.
"Let's look around those tables and benches where we slew the mighty insect to start."
Agreed, Sobek. Working from the outside in makes sense to me.
Lueck spends a couple of minutes sifting his webbed hands through the sand, looking for anything that may have been dropped in the well. Eventually, he climbs his way back up to the rest.
"I found nothing except more sand down there. I think it would take some considerable labor to get enough sand out to make it functional again, or find anything that may have been dropped down there long ago."
Lueck takes advantage of the offered rope to make his way down to the bottom of the well.
Lueck considers climbing down, but at Sobek's comment he hesitates. Instead, he leans over and mutters orisons in seeking lore from his patron.
Lueck will cast detect poison and detect magic as far down the well as they will reach. 30' and 60' respectively.
Lueck grips his axe tightly in case anything flies up out of the well.
As Seben begins to lower the rope, Lueck nods approvingly, but says "If this doesn't work, I can climb down the side of the well and give it a good look."
Lueck seems to take comfort in Sobek's reassurance. When Indus returns, the tiny priest hefts his axe and sqeaks "Ready. Let's do this."
When Lueck returns, he is dusty and dejected. He tells the others "I didn't realize Sehkmet was so... forgotten here. Just preaching will never be enough to revitalize her name. It will take so much more. Something truly epic."
Indus Ionaeus wrote: "Is there something that will help us against the haunting of the place?", Indus asks, before they split up. "I will see if I can find a temple to my patron here and ask my fellow devotees how to overcome such things by Sekhmet's grace."
Lueck will look for a temple to Sehkmet. He'd like to confer with some of his brethren about the haunts. If Sehkmet is too old of a god to have an active temple, he'll still wander around looking for one and regroup with the others later.
"Perhaps we should come back tomorrow, after valiant Diorio has some time to work past the venom." That's my vote, but I'll go on if others want to.
Recognizing the effects of the poison from such creatures in the Mwangi Expanse, Lueck hesitates for an instant; for a tiny grippli without a powerful shaman nearby, this would certainly mean death. But Diorio is strong, and Lueck recalled the potion Seben gave him to hold. He quickly uncorks the tiny vial and holds it to Diorio's lips. He gently holds his head back with a webbed hand to help him swallow the contents.
Lueck wastes no time reveling in victory when he sees brave Diorio's state. He bounds over to him and tends to him.
Cure light wounds on Diorio, heals 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4.
He'll check for the condition of the poison and possible treatment, heal skill check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11.
Edit: Since the cure from his own energy didn't do much, he'll use his wand of cure light wounds as well.
CLW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7, 24 charges left.
CLW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8, 23 charges left.
Hero Point Charge!
Feeling his chance to be truly heroic, Lueck raises his axe above his head and charges the presumably delicious insect before him!
Reroll to hit 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 + 2 = 22, Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Charge!
Axe raised overhead in both hands, the tiny grippli runs straight down the wall and at the delicious menace before them!
To hit 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8, damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
What is the gray rectangle to the bottom of the insect? Is that something I can move on top of from the top of the wall? Or would my climb speed allow me to charge it?
Cast defensively 1d20 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 3 = 12
Ugh. Maybe Sekhmet does not look favorably upon us now.
"Divine Sekhmet, bless your servants who goes to battle in your name..."
Casting bless on them.
Lueck watches, axe in hand. Ha! They wait for the beast to close to do real battle! What true warriors Sekhmet has allied me with!
Lueck stays on the wall with his axe ready, watching in case the bug isn't alone, or in case the excitement draws something else. So, ready action to attack with axe if something gets within range.
Lueck readies his axe, but keeps an eye out for other supernatural threats that might emerge while they deal with the mundane.
I am onboard. I will prioritize any spookies that show up, with channels and/or CLWs as needed. Then I'll switch to juicies,
Lueck looks down during the conversation. "Hmm. Perhaps I could use the healing energy that Sekhmet allows me to heal the haunted spirit, sending it on to its existence beyond." He flexes his webbed fingers, clearly doubting the effectiveness of what he's offering.
