Lucas uses Slim's Mustang's driver-side door to give him a steady platform to aim the rifle at the man doing the talking.

Lucas takes the rifle from JJ solemnly, nods, and says: You know I'll handle her with respect, should it come to that... Then confidently adds: If the push comes to shove, we can probably take them on!

What does the 'opposition' look like? How many vehicles and bodies? How about their weaponry?

Lucas aims his rifle at the stranger, looking for any sudden movements when he gets his weapons. Assuming that Tenebrous doesn't go all kama-crazee, he says: 'Ey, Milkyway, better hop into that rig so's them sunrays won't pierce ya'. No time for introductions, we've got daylight to chase.

For initiative, last time I ran a PbP, I used a variant form of Marvel Heroic init system, by Margaret Weis Productions, behind the screen. It seemed to work the way everyone was happy. Thenagain, I had only three players.

As Slim's car is nearing the site, Stinker lets loose a short burst from his own assault rifle at the crazies, in the vain hope that they'd have enough wits to duck behid the bridge railing.

Lucas hates wasting bullets, but he hates the crazies even more. It was crazies who kidnapped him as a kid, and later was saved by a nomad pack!

Sorry guys, I haven't been able to attend in few days. I've had two f2f RP sessions within 3 days and a character creation session! My attention is not about hitting the Crazies, so I won't even roll for it. I'll subtract, say 5 bullets.

Sure thing, Slim says Lucas and whacks the MG to the magic spot right away. Then he proceeds to eyeball the recruits and by judging from his hmpf, he apparently is unimpressed by the soft city-folk he sees.

Stinker chuckles at Chop Shop being all pompous around the recruits. The chuckle sounds all metallic cuz of his mask. He sits at the gunner's seat in Jim's car, gives him a respectful nod, and makes sure the MG is ready to rock.

As soon as he spots the smoke plume rising from the mountainside he let's out a yell: Eyes left and forward! We're headed to target-rich environ.. envir.... area!

Yaaaaaay!

I'll hitch a ride with Slim Jim, as we're both nomads Chop Shop as he's got an MG to man, and I'll dump my extra gear into the rig. Oh, and I'll give 5 plastic splints to Estelle. Anyone want a bayonet?

If Darkwolf or Arknight want's to shoot the rig's MG, I'll happily switch over to Jim's car.

I have a lot to adjust for in these boards. I completed my character writeup but the software kicked me out when I pushed the confirm button...

Not a happy camper at the moment but I'll give it another go after work. I ended up with a Scavenger Nomad after all.
