Lua will smile at Bart, shrug at Johnathan and cut her left hand.
"how much do we need?" she asks as she holds her dripping hand near the portal.

"By all means, let us proceed."Lua glances at the now gagged Quenn.
"Somebody should stay and keep an eye one them though."
Aside to Jonathan"do you have the gems that we found? I belive we'll need them to open one of the portals."

"Well played Quenn.Save for the fact that you yelled 'now' and they attacked BEFORE you were rendered unconcious."
Lua's eyes are smoldering with restrained anger.
"I believe we should gag him rather than listen to any more of his attempts to turn us against one another.Or cut out his lying tongue."

"Sorry to ruin your day cur, but you attacked us when our companion was attacked by a skeleton! After pretending to work with us for a common cause!"
Lua bristles from the insult.Nearly drawing her bow back in her anger.
"We. Do. Not. Attack. 'Allies'."

being as an elf only needs 4 jours of reverie not sleep, Lua will get up at dawn (or stay up til then) and pray for guidance and the return of her spells then.
Upon hearing the prisoners awake, Lua will approach and watch quietly as Zareth enacts his spell...

"Agreed. Lets go back and rest. In the morning I can pray and reset my spells for the day, as well as think more clearly." With that she will head back up the rope.
As they walk back to the others..
"Putting the images that we saw, with the inscription on the pedestal....I wonder if we were judged worthy and were in fact 'watching over' the Champions of Light.No offense to you Zareth, it might indeed be an Elven 'thing'."

"I think our other option is to try the other gates.We haven't tried them all, and I believe we can access the gate with missing gemstones by possibly placing the gems we found at the tomb in the empty sockets."
Lua will put the disks in her pack.
"As interesting as this device is it isn't our goal.Maybe I'll come back next time and study it."

"That gnome.....Mayhap a scrying device?"

Lua will examine the disks again looking for markings.

"Well, we can keep looking at disks at random, try the next portal or give up and go home."
Lua states as she places the next disk on the pedestal.
"Unless anybody else has any ideas?"
"Or we can question our prisoners if Bart can wake them."

"I saw a human battling some dire wolves in defense of a wagon of people. What did you see Zareth? Bel?" She will ask as she retrieves a different disk.

if there aren't any markings she'll just try one at random.
"Let's try this one."Lua will grab a disk and place it on the pedestal.

"Those that are worthy are charged with watching over the Champions of Light." Lua reads the pedestal."Hmmm doesn't mean much to me anyone?Zareth?Should we attempt to use the disks?"

Lua will climb down into the room and search for any writting or glyphs, besides the ones on the pedestal.

She will then cast comprehend languages and read the pedestal and anyhting else she might have found.

"Well done friend Bel!I was worried that something had happened, but you seem to have things well in hand." Lua will help her drag the mongrolman back to Bart." Here Sir Bart, another prisoner.We were just on our way to the room with the disks to try and find some info on the statuette."

"Bel is that you? I'm so glad your okay."Lua will head up to where the voices are coming from.

"No problem. Join me as you wish, Zareth.Maybe we can discover something." She'll say over her shoulder as she's leaving."And if you manage to wake him, find out if he's seen Bel."

After we get back to the tower, while everybody else is setting up camp, Lua will return to the disk room.Once there she will cast comprehend languages and start to study the pedestal and the surrounding disks.
"I have a spell that lets me understand languages, I'm going back to the disk room to study it."she will state as she heads for the room, so that the group knows where she is.

"Hoi friend Bart, have you mayhap seen Bel?"
Lua will step thru..
"We seem to have gone in a circle and not found Bel or the statuette."

Lua will open the secret door.

"I am willing to rest if you need to, but unless we rest til morning,I still won't have any more spells."
Lua gets her spells after morning prayers, actually rest and study has little bearing on them.

Lua will also try to help albiet unsuccessfully

Lua will follow across to Jonathan, looking for signs of Bel or the statuette we're suppossed to find.

"Tie him up we don't want him to attack us later."
Lua wil head to the bridge again, looking across waiting for Johnathan.

It's not that she can't take ten, she's just not that interested. it's a mongrolman and they attacked us.I think there is a slight misconception about Lua's morals, her goddess is of nature and death and violence are part of that. She just doesn't want to be a hired assasin or thug.There is nothing that states that she has to help them, they attacked and brought this on themselves.That being said she did try....

"Well, nature takes it's course. I cannot save him."

I don't know about Zareth's weight, but i'm pretty sure the mongrel men and prolly the pirate guy weigh more than Lua, so she will go before they do.

If he doesn't want to go first Lua will cast light on her bow then slowely make her way across. If he'll go first Lua will cast light on his hand crossbow before he goes across.

Lua will walk to the edge and look down, then across.
How far up are we and how far across does the bridge go?
"I will attempt it if no one else will."
She will take out a 50' coil of silk rope and tie it around her waist.
"Jonathan if you would be so kind as to tie this off to something or hold it if there is nothing to tie it to?"
if the rope wont go all the way across she will try to think of somethng else first. Her total weght is around 165 with all of her carried gear.

Lua will also cast detect magic and glance into the room.
She will then fire an arrow into one of the larger random areas, into the floor.
Whispering to Zareth " I think its a pathway across."
Waiting to see if the room lights up from the arrows impact, 8)

"What do you see Zareth?" Lua will stand next to him, and whisper this question. Keeping an eye on the 'pirates'."Do you think they've seen Bel?"

"Well regardless of the outcome of this meeting, I'm getting off this boat." Lua will then edge by the boatman and disembark from the skiff.
"Thats better. Now, after you answer my friend's questions, I would like to know what trouble you face?"
She still has her bow in hand knocked but not drawn.

Lua shudders in revulsion and nearly tips over the side in her effort to avoid the skeleton. Sheepishly she will find a seat.
"Zareth, Bart are you coming?"
She sits nervously, white knuckling her bow.

"Wait! Stop!Drowkin!I was hoping someone ELSE would talk to it!"
Lua will rush to the edge of the water holding out a silver piece.
"Is this enough?"

"Unnatural creations! I shudder to be in it's presence."
Lua looks visibly upset by the boatman...
"Undead are natures true enemies. I will cross this if we deem necessary, but find it truly distasteful."

"Well then let us hurry,but I'm worried about Bel."
She will reknock her bow and head toward the stairs.
Moving quietly...move silently (1d20+2=21)

"Zareth, Bart...I am at a loss. Should we continue and see what this vermin's friends are up to or go back and try to find Bel elswhere?"
Lua will glance around at the group..
"Did anyone bring along the manacles? Johnathan?"

"I wouldn't let you kiss my blade you filthy creature!" looks to Zareth
"If Bel didn't come through here, where would she go? Could she have snuck thru without their knowledge?"

Lua will lower her bow and retrieve a scroll from her pack.
"Here Bart, be well." uses scroll clw

"Johnathan are you injured?" looking aside to Bart," I'll heal you as soon as the situation resolves itself brave Bart."
Lua will keep an eye out for more piratical (?) types, pretty sure the two gentlemen can take care of these.

Lua will cast command on one of the pirates, DC14 or fall prone for one round.+4 to hit for johnathan in melee,-4 to melee attack from the ground +AoO when getting up.
"Fall foul miscreant."

"Ehlonna Protect us." Lua will follow on Johnathan's heels, and enter the portal.

"I'm willing to risk entrapment or even a dragon's den to save our fellow Warder. I fear for Bel's safety, we should press on."
Lua grips her bow tightly and grimaces at the blood on the floor.
" This portal here I think."She says indicating the portal with the dragon's and the pearls.
