always wanted to do this.....

There is a flash of light and an Loren appears out of nowhere
Loren looks around sees the stars and smiles
he sits and ponders for an hour and then writes this on a prachment

dearest mother and father!
stupid humans always going where they do not belong! they really should not have gone into that old abandoned elven city, it still had evil in it. mostly goblins and the like

I know I was the most junior member of the retreivel team,and I know I really should not have gone out with the others but this was supposed to be a straight forward mission!

until we realised that those stupid humans had released a pit fiend who was ramapging aroung, half out of his mind, it went through us without a second thought and contiuned on, it knocked me aside and i was uncouncious for about a day
I came to,and i am sorry too say that the others in the team are dead!
I tracked the monster, a foolish thing to do i know!
i came across the remains of the humans, they had found a staff of the magi, the fiend had killed them and ignored the staff!
i picked it up, it thrummed with power,
as you know uncle Tarlin had taught me the words to unlock all the power of a staff in one go,
i knew my duty,
our motto "we are sacrifice for our people"!!! had been drilled into me often enough

I found the fiend and called it a few rude names, it charged at me and i broke the staff, the last thing i saw was it being blown to pieces
i did not die but wanderd one of the outer planes, i am not sure which one, i fell through a gate and arrived back on the prime

i am not sure where i am but I am not more than a few thousand miles from home, the stars look similar, anyway i think i shall adventure for a while, as i belive i have done my good deed for this decade, feel free to scry me to see that i am ok

at daybreak loren finds a track and starts walking

i live south of london!
i work long hours but have feedom to stop and post during the day, but struggle on weekends due to family commitmnets

ps i will play a high elf evoker and try to abuse the gms rule about double evoc damage!!!!

seriously though, mmy preferred race is elf, my preferred class is wizard and my preffered spell type is evoc so obvioulsy i like rules where evoc do more damage and con is less important!
i have never played a specialist wizard before but will now, because there is no good reason (in my humble opinion!) to play a universalist wizard in pathfinder core


hi people a general question
i am looking at the pathfinder core book and cant find any mention of extra spells for wizards, in beta wizards got extra spells at level 2 4 6, 8, etc as spell like abilities
do they still get them?
(kyrt)if so do they get them in your campaign?


what traits are we allowed to use? and where do we get them?


just a thought!
if i do play a drow can the other pcs know me, can some of us be freinds??
otherwise you may get the situation of "its a drow attack it" (from the pcs!)
or "who cares if he is killed by the angry mob we only met him yesterday"

my thought is that perhaps my character was part of a drow raiding force or something, maybe they captured the other pcs and he freed them and escaped with them (he is good alighned and has simply had enough!)
im not trying to make the other pcs beholden to mine, just giving them a reall reason to be together and for them to give a damn about my pc.
obviously this has to fit in with whatever kyrt thinks is appropriate

(the level hit is not fun but is a lot better then a two level hit!)


a few quetions about elves
do all the subraces get the abilities that the standard elf gets in pathfinder core rules
what are their favoured classes
what does srd stand for?
how does it work playing a drow, ie do they have a favoured class (+1 hp or skill point) can i take daylight adaptation as a feat? (from forgotten realms)

how much exp do i have? can i have the same as the others? (assuming that i have earned a bit before we met)
as another comment i really do like a 1st level pathfinder wizard, back in 1st or 2nd ed i would have had one spell and be ready rest a while back, in pathfinder i have 4 spells at first level, and HOA and unlimted 0 level spells

i agree with bengal, i have used most of my spells for the day, but if the rest of you wish to continue for a while i am happy do do so

two options
1.If Bengal is still standing and ok to fight, loren will attack with his HOA and then move 15ft westwards,
HOA attack is 15 (i assume that misses)

2.if bengal is paraylized or goes down then he will drag her away moving 15ft westwards

loren will place himself behind Thel and cast mage armour on himself and protection from evil on thel (or whoever is opening the door) if he will allow it

loren explains that The circle has an aura of necromancy.
and The circle seems similar to a magic circle, but it is obviously more powerful and seems to be designed either for the summoning or creation of undead. bad magic!

can loren rub out the circle? if so he will do so

Loren whispers, there is a secret door along middle of the north wall. If it goes straight it would likely lead into area 5.
and i can hear a scratching sound coming from the two doors off the northern hallway
