![]() Tarpeius wrote: That could still use some clarification, though, since in Pathfinder the Attack trait is, without exception, used with abilities that require a check from the attacker. Ooh, ooh, I know an exception! Gatewalkers Spoilers: The Myroga has "Ley Line Rupture" which is a busted action with that attack trait that only makes the target make a save. ![]()

![]() The only thing that kinda annoys me is that it's difficult to read these as a changelog with the new and old errata being smashed into one entry since we've moved away from printing-based errata for the newer rounds. I think it'd be helpful if maybe there was some dating or something so that a person only interesting in seeing the most recent changes from last time could distinguish them easily. ![]()

![]() I don't mind price increases, but I wish there was a better incentive than "prices are only going to go up" to purchase, like a PDF bundle, at least for things that are in such large numbers are PFS Scenarios and Maps, for backlog filling purposes. ![]()

![]() Yeah, the voluntary flaws sidebar might as well not exist, it's Rule 0 fluff GM/Group level stuff as now published. They should've just added "Alternate Ancestry Boosts" and left the optional flaws how they were instead of taking while giving. ![]()

![]() Oh, the other comment I had is... I really hope the errata change is also open to Adventure Paths, though I doubt it. Kingmaker really needs another passthrough, though I'm hoping we get a big dedicated book just to updating/fixing the systems it added, as well as presenting them in a non-AP format. A GMG with toolkits specifically for Kingdoms and Armies, especially creating "NPC" Kingdoms and Armies would be nice for those that want to engage those mechanics outside of the pre-published AP. ![]()

Makes sense, I just wish they used more precise language than "works with" when describing the intent of the change because that to me contradicts the change that would've otherwise been clearer. ![]()

![]() Will this book include rules or guidelines for creating ancestries or class options in addition to the other stuff? Is there such a resource for PF 2e already or in the works, if not? I guess it's a lot more complex but the details and guidelines of npc/monster creation makes me want something similar for player options. At the very least, is there an article on the kinda high level philosophy that went into PF2e ancestry and class design, so I can better see the patterns of the existing class options? |
