BACKGROUND
Linc grew up a wild kid in the backwoods of Dentus. He flew cargo and passengers across the wilderness of the planets northern climes, but what he most wanted to do was get off his boring homeworld and travel the stars.
His intelligence gaining him a chance, he won an appointment to the Naval academy. He thrived there, and had hopes of Captaining his own ship someday. Until a gambling addiction derailed his academics and he washed out.
Automatically appointed to the Navy, he worked his way through the ranks without much to distinguish his service.
In his career, he was involved in escorting and supporting a classified Scientific expedition, where he met Doctor Malaxius Harvel and formed a friendship in the expeditions adventures.
He also was involved in the rescue of civilians fleeing a planetary revolution. He became friends with civilian engineer Nicholas Maya as they drifted aboard a shuttle for two weeks, helping to keep the rest of the refugees alive.
Increasingly cynical at his lack of success, often due to his own fault, he turned to selling Navy equipment on the black market. When ultimately discovered, he was quietly dismissed and paid off to avoid scandal.
Now a loose ends, he looks up his old friends to see if he can scare up any work fitting his skill set...

BOTTING
