Lilting ready to start singing a song to inspire everyone gives a slow blink in realization that the fight is over before they even could react. Not a truly unusual thing, but a clear sign that a group fought well. They instead turn their focus to the agitated dinos instead and start to sing a calming, wordless song for them.
Lilting knows little about dinosaurs. they'd know more about plants than creatures sadly. Lilting gives a small nod at the woman's request and starts to move to the pen where the steggys should be gathering and stands on a pole, moving their rainstick-walking stick back and forth as an almost tuning fork and accompanying instrument for the deep wordless song they start to sing.
Seeing that their music has gathered more than a few of the playful little things, the leshy keeps up the tune, adding in some cajoling ups and downs to the tune.
Finally, trying to keep the mass of dinos they've amassed in place and not moving away, they give surprisingly scary looks at any dino trying to move away. Despite being tiny, their scale like leaves rise like a cat's hackles and deep back-red energy rises from underneath, only to settle once the dino stops moving.
Lilting Rill gives a warm smile at Grammy Thistledown. In their low bass, they purport, "Could be that the Dinos wandered in of their own volition, but it's not safe or good for them to be where they are. Also, this could be a case of someTHING not someONE. I mean I was created from abyssal energies perverting the Findar Forest due to old cyclopian ruins. Not really something you can blame on anyone. Why don't we go get the full stiry before passing judgements?" Lilting then slowly turns and meanders up to the woodpecker. "I think we are ready, please lead the way."
Part way through the trip up north, you realize that the always austere Tibal has gone off her own direction, most likely to check in with the Grand Lodge in Absalom. Instead a slow moving leshy starts traveling with you instead. The deep red, black, and blue colored algae that makes up their body is definitely not the normal color of algae, much less plants, but anyone with a good understanding of the Abyss would recognize it as a common abyssal plant.
They plod along a large rainstick serving double duty as a walking stick with a bag of supplies slung across their shoulder. They look up at everyone with slowly blooming smile on their face, and, in a surprisingly low voice for such a small creature, comment, "I would be okay with rounding up some dinosaurs... And it seems this kind bird might show us the way, as well."
Lilting plods up behind Fynn as they draw outa softly green glowing sigil in the air. After a moment they give a low droning hum that seems to move the sigil like wind blowing paper across a table. The sigil lands on the monk and suffusing him with soothing energy. "Relax, you can survive this, no problem."
Lilting gives the Man a nod and extends a claw to shake. "Lilting Rill, it's a pleasure. I'm not a scientist but I do know plants... For obvious reasons. Speaking of which,if this is giving you a headache I have some nice tea leaves for that." He reaches into his pack ND pulls them out before wandering through the other rooms. He pauses in front of the squirrel. "Ah! What a cute squirrel!"
Lilting slolwy steps up to the man and takes a look at what he's complaining about. "What kind of inaccuracies? Did someone draw the wrong plant?"
Lilting takes their time moving through the displays. The colors and shapes are intriguing but they prove a bit too short to enjoy them as the artist probably intended, and given his relative lack of exposure to art in general can't parse the themes and images much beyond the immediate asthetic value. They do tromp into the herbalism room and give a small sigh of relief, "Now this is something I can understand. OOOOH, Baby's Breath, I wonder why they have that here?"
Lilting slowly shakes Ms. Wahler's hand. "Chamred as well. You seem like a strong woman, Ms. Wähler." They then move back to the main conversation seeing it has moved along while the leshy was thinking of a response to the teacher. They gingerly take their own invitation into their soft claws not wanting to damage the beautiful paper, and snugly put it into their pack. "Interesting to see an art gallery in Galt. But we might not want to make them dislike us too much. We could get kicked out too and then won't be any help to Shance and his uncle."
A small slow moving pangolin shaped leshy stops and looks up at all the tall people talking. They don't have the normal green and brown coloring of a typical leshy instead starting a vibrant red in their tail and then slowly fading to a blue around their face. The color of abyssal tinged algae for those who recognize such things. They tilt their head as they lean on a long rainstick they seem to use as a walking stick. In a slow, and surprisingly deep voice, they comment. "Being accused of something you didn't do is... aprehensible. If that is something that a leshy such as myself can help with, I'd be glad to." They raise a hand with some rather wicked looking, if ultimately soft, claws, "Lilting Rill. It's a pleasure." |
