What has you concerned.[/b] And When Yvonne mentions that a Maetaur woman had been at the Hollow only a couple weeks back Lilly's spirit is uplifted but then her face grows darker when a second druid is mentioned. She ask What can you tel me about this Greekory? I think I need to seem him, and soon. We have just recently met a man claiming to be a druid who was not. Now Danerikka, before we leave I would like to meet this young girl. I too am a healer of no small skill. If this Greekory is truly druid then its likely he had done all I know to do but I would speak with her anyway.

Hmm. New posts were not showing up in my summary page for this game. Please excuse my delay. With the fall of the owlbear the wounded Lilly shifts back from bear form to her human form and somewhat miraculously she is unharmed. It is obvious she is saddened by the creature's death even though it was not quite a normal animal. At one time this creature was mighty. A shame it was reduced to a hunger crazed monster in the end. We have done a good thing to put it down. She stands silently for a few more moments over the beast before nodding to herself, content with her actions. She then begins to break camp. Excellent description Terquem. I feel like I can almost see the place. :) At Kerak's recommendation Lilly agrees. I am happy to take the lead. Best we be open with these folk and hide little. The druid, no weapon in hand steps out of any cover and walks forward expecting to be seen. When she is finally spotted she waves a greeting and calls out Hello. Might we come closer and speak with you?

I am a little confused by the attacks above. It seems that you rolled damage rolls to see if you hit. While not correct, likely worked out better for Lilly than the actual 1d20 to hit rolls.

Hey, My wife and I too are empty nesters in our 50s. :) My son lives 5 hours away and my daughter 10 hours away. The only saving grace in that is that when driving to my daughter's house the path takes me within 10 minutes of my son's house. So I can manage to visit both on most trips. Quite nice of you to help out your neighbors. Your help could be the difference between them living independenty a few more years of needing more formal assistance. Glad that they have managed to live on their own for so long. Many elderly people do not make it into their 80s independent.

I looked as well and must admit its not as clear as I think it should be. I found conflicting examples that seem to be at least semi-official. My best read is that the benefit of flanking is not fully defined but that many GMs give advantage for it.

In bear form Lilly has an AC of 11 so is gonna get hit a lot. The 4 temps per round is nice but perhaps not enough to keep her up another round without her shifting again. As a moon druid she can shift as a bonus action. Just reviewed the rules. She started with 34HP as a brown bear, plus the 4 temps from Heroism. She took 24 points of damage so is down to 14. If she takes a like amount next turn she would not drop but be forced to shift and any HP over the 14+4 temps would carry over to her human form. Her human form has 18 HP so if she took the same damage 8 would go through, leaving her at 10 HP. On her turn she could shift again as a bonus action becoming a different animal or even a different brown bear. I am pretty sure all this is right. What I am not sure about is if she can shift between animal forms without shifting back to human first I think she can as she can use a bonus round to use another shift for the day to maintain an animal for after the duration runs out. Her best AC is in human form with AC 16. Her best animal form AC is a 14. This will get better in later levels with Barkskin.

I am happy to format my attacks and damage any way you prefer. This is how I always have done it though. I rolled a 23 to hit and would like to know for sure if that hits or misses before I take my next attack. Both attacks hit Lilly so she is hurt and if I 23 misses she will likely disengage.

I went back and re-read our mission, as I have to do every once in a while, partly due to the slow pace and partly because I forget more easily than I used to. So our actual mission that we are being paid for is to find information, in the form of individual reports by each of us about the possible whereabouts of the Druid Caitriann. We should be looking for he Kobolds, who are actually having a problem with these goblins I believe. Going into the castle is a little premature but I figure we eventually will have to do it. Lilly adds to the discussion I am not sure about all of that. We seek information about a Maetaur woman who is a Druid. Her name is Caitriann. Have you heard of her and where she might be? We also know that two evil men, brothers named Sergei and Jorge Tanakov are here in the castle, likely below. They claim to be descendants of the original Von Uvooullovich family. I believe they hide on the other side of some magic portal. They have the noble named Caldwell, who claims ownership of this place, having legally purchased it. That should interest you and your queen. Were you to help in his rescue I suspect he would be indebted to you. They also have at least 3 others from Pawkatukit that will likely be enslaved at some point. Thinking further she adds If we go into this castle as you recommend I have a boon to ask of you. I believe your people have some conflict with the kobolds? If so, end it peacefully.

Is a map available? Are there other aids to navigation? I am fairly self sufficient in the forests and can likely provide food for the rest of you if you are not too picky about what you eat. Always good to have backup provisions though. If we need to carry a lot I recommend we get a donkey.
