About Lillanith

Background:
Lill grew up in a small coastal town. Most of the people were fisherfolk, farmers, and other businesses. There was nothing like a school; older children helped unload fish from the boats. Her first few years were normal, though her sylph heritage manifested early. However, her hair blowing on its own, or things like curtains moving to unfelt breezes did nothing more than sometimes cause someone to startle.

That all changed when she was 14. A fishing boat Sea Mist came into the harbor with a badly wounded fisherman whom a shark had bitten. Even as people called for help, Lill felt something. She knew she could help. She jumped onto the Sea Mist. As she did water started to rise and flow around her, just circling her. She touched the wound and the water flowed to it, and then the wound just closed!

However, even in a world with magic, it is not everywhere. There were no mages or clerics in her town, and it wasn't long before people would pass her by warily, or tell others to "stay away from the witch." Even her own family was wary of her. For the next few years, Lill often helped on the Sea Mist and learned that she enjoyed taking risks just for the fun of it. She'd often enter contests, not caring if she won or lost, but wanting to face the challenge.

Eventually, she decided to travel and set out on her own. Over the last few years, she has gone from place to place, seeking challenges and helping people, especially with healing, where she can.

Lill is like the classic girl next door. 5'6 and slim, with brown eyes and brown hair worn in a ponytail. She dresses in loose clothes most of the time and is barefoot as often as practical. What most people tend to notice, though, is the way her hair, or clothes, often move as if a breeze were blowing them, even when there is no breeze or she is indoors.
