Most new players are going to have a rep score of near 0. The discussion of 'low' rep refers to those with rep in the negative thousand range, with the particular place in the range being different for each individual.

I have a question about "C6 The Dreaming Tower." In one paragraph is says that worshipers of Desna get several healing effects for sleeping overnight. Then it says worshipers of Desna are able to prep additional spells. All well and good, except it follows with "The healing and restorative effects of resting atop the Dreaming Tower can occur once per day, whereas the additional effects for worshipers of Desna can occur up to once per month." This implies that the healing effects are for everyone, not just worshipers of Desna as explicitly said just 3 sentences above. Should I take this to mean that the healing is indeed for everyone and the Desna reference is in error, or that this sentence is in error and all the boons of the tower are for Desna-ites only?

I tend to take it a lot as a spell caster. The group I game with a lot tends to be heavy on the rules and it is simpler to take that feat then deal with the book keeping. Especially since i prefer not taking metamagic stuff early on if it all. One of my first wizard concepts for pathfinder was for an item crafter as I wanted to try crafting in a game now that you arent kicked in the nuts for doing it. His backstory was that he was trained by a guy running a magic supply shop, so of course he learned eschew materials so as to not use up the merchandise during his training. I have always seen it as more of a way to avoid book keeping, or as a way of concretely backing up a character concept in the rules.

My Kingmaker game is returning after a vacation of other systems and we are at the start of rivers run red. The group is one war cleric, a bard, and a mount/tank focused fighter. We did some background generating beforehand that left them with some more money than starting characters which translated into better equipment. So far they have been marching through the game no problem. I wince at all the wasted arcane magic like spellbooks as I favor wizards in play myself, but they have no problem with their group. There was some talk of talking their assasin Mikmek adventuring with them, but to date it has been a three man party with no trouble.
