Divine Abilities
Spoiler:
Divine Spells Prepared (CL 2nd):
1st - endure elements, sanctuary (DC 14), shield of faith
0 - create water, light, message, stabilize Domain Powers (Community, Knowledge, Nobility)
- Bless (Sp) - May cast bless 1/day per 2 caster levels.
- Calming Touch (Su) - May touch a creature as a standard action to heal the target of 1d6 points of nonlethal damage + 1 point per caster level. This touch also removes the fatigued, shaken, and sickened conditions (but has no effect on more severe conditions).
- Comprehend Languages (Sp) - May cast comprehend languages 1/day per 2 caster levels.
- Divine Favor (Sp) - May cast divine favor 1/day per 2 caster levels.
- Lore Keeper (Su) - All Knowledge skills are class skills. May also touch a creature to learn about its abilities and weaknesses as a melee touch attack. If successful, information is gained as if making the appropriate Knowledge skill check with a DC 14 (i.e., result equals 10 + caster level + Intelligence modifier).
- Noble Blessing (Su) - May touch a creature as a standard action, giving it a noble blessing. The target gains a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws. This effect lasts for 2 rounds (i.e., equal to caster level). A target may only be affected by noble blessing 1/day.
TACTICS
Before Combat If Liet has time to prepare for combat, he likes to invoke his shield of faith or sanctuary to hold back would-be attackers. He then follows up with bless, divine favor or a noble blessing upon himself and his allies. If he expects a prolonged fight, he also uses message to establish communication with each of his companions in the event they get separated or need to strategize without being overheard.
During Combat Liet really prefers to stay out of hand-to-hand combat. Instead, he looks to step in and heal his friends to support them. If an opponent seems particularly difficult or unusual, he may opt to try and touch it to use his lorekeeper ability to learn more about its strengths and weaknesses. Otherwise, he attacks from range with his sling until cornered, and then wields his mace instead.
Morale Liet carefully monitors any conflict to determine the best course of action, using message to call off his companions if it seems wiser to retreat. From there, he relies on sanctuary to let him pull wounded allies out of the fight so he can save them to fight another day.

BACKGROUND
Spoiler:
Liet was born with a strange birth mark said to be the symbol of one of the dead god-kings. To protect him, his parents gave him into the care of the priests who hid him from the Rani. Studying within the confines of their secret monastery, Liet became an accomplished scholar, which allowed him to join the bureaucracy administering the country. When he could no longer stand the injustices he saw inherent in the system, he resigned his commission, citing ill health.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Spoiler:
Liet is a small, lean man with pale skin, well-manicured hands, and close cropped black hair. He has brown eyes, a long, narrow nose and full lips framed by a well-trimmed moustache and goatee. He typically wears white robes and a pair of soft-soled shoes.
