Much like the rest of her vanth ilk, Libitina appears as an 8ft-tall black-boned human skeleton with large glossy black raven-like wings sprouting from her scapulae. A 6ft long skeletal tail extends whip-like from the base of her pelvis. Covering her skull is a polished black mask resembling a vulture’s skull through which her glowing red eyes can be seen.
The symbol of her station is a distinctive one-piece adamantine scythe with a handle almost as long as her own body and featuring symbols from a long lost language etched onto its blade. Much like with her mask, she is seldom seen without her weapon in public, but can dismiss and recall either at will from the Boneyard.
Though she exhibits a certain level of affection for Mandoo, especially in private, to strangers she plays the part of the stern and resolute guardian of the dead; one of Pharasma's dispassionate front-line soldiers in the never-ending war against soul thieves, the undead, and anyone who would disrupt the natural cycle of mortality. She communicates with Mandoo through their telepathic bond and usually lets him do the talking, but she understands Common and can speak it if necessary.
When summoned by him, she will not stray far from Mandoo's side. She is his bodyguard, and will act decisively against anyone threatening him with physical harm.
