FAQ

Individual GMs may give different answers.

Yeah, well, I play in Society, and all of my GMs use RAW almost religiously. :P So none for me until Paizo says so! Which means I either have to get a Blinkback Belt or Returning Daggers, neither of which are cheap. :(

For the feat Ricochet Toss (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/weapon-mastery-feats/ricochet-toss-weapon-ma stery), one of the prerequisites is "weapon training class feature with a ranged weapon."

The Flying Blade(http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/hybrid-classes/swashbuckler/archetype s/paizo---swashbuckler-archetypes/flying-blade), a Swashbuckler Archetype, has a feature called "Flying Blade Training," which replaces the Swashbuckler's "Swashbuckler Weapon Training." Both of these features work exactly like Weapon Training, with a couple of additions like a better crit range.

For the purposes of this feat, would Flying Blade Training count as Weapon Training for this feat?

Now that the Juggler archetype is out, that's actually possible now.

Why should people talk abut TWF flying blades? TWF takes away precise strike damage. Now rapid shot... that's a different matter.

Ahhhhhhh..I thought precise strike used up panache. Thanks. XP

Still a damn shame I can't be a knife throwing manianc...guess I'll have to settle with Grenadier for that experience with bombs.

So, I'm playing a Bolt Ace with a Heavy Crank Crossbow, and some of it's properties are extremely confusing to me.

Quote:

Crank Crossbow, Heavy

This heavy crossbow has a winch mounted below the stock.

Benefit(s) Up to 50 feet of silk rope can be wound onto the winch as a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity. The wound rope can be attached to a barbed bolt or grappling bolt as part of a loading action. After firing such a bolt, the wielder can use the winch to retract the rope or pull herself along the rope if the bolt is secure.

When used with a barbed bolt, the winch provides a +2 bonus on grapple combat maneuver checks to pull the target toward you.

When used with a grappling bolt, the winch provides a +2 bonus on Climb checks.

This entire weapon seems not very well thought out to me. Here are my questions.

1)

Quote:
the wielder can use the winch to retract the rope or pull herself along the rope if the bolt is secure.

Is this a standard action? A full action? Or maybe even a free action?

2)

Quote:

Does the winch not automatically pull the creature towards you? If not, and you fail the combat maneuver are you pulled toward the creature instead? Or does your rope just break?

3) Do you have to use an action to yank out the barbed bolt out of the creature?

For the Pistolero,

Quote:

Twin Shot Knockdown (Ex) At 11th level, when the pistolero hits a single target with two or more one-handed firearm attacks during her turn, she can spend 1 grit point to knock the target prone. She can choose to spend the grit point after the attacks are made.

This deed replaces the bleeding wound deed.

For the Mysterious Stranger,

Quote:

Clipping Shot (Ex) At 11th level, when the mysterious stranger misses with a firearm attack, she can spend 1 grit point to deal half the damage that attack would have dealt if it were a hit (roll damage normally). She can decide to use this deed and spend the grit point after making the attack. This deed has no effect if the attack used the dead shot deed. The cost of using this deed cannot be reduced with the Signature Deed feat, the true grit class feature, or any similar effect.

This replaces the bleeding wound deed.

You can't combo Mysterious Stranger and Pistolero (which sucks for people who wanna be charming 6-shooter desperados who can actually use a gun well) but Musket Master and Mysterious Stranger is a-ok.

EDIT: Ok, nope. No can do with Musket Master. G@$*@$n RAW.

I want more guns for the Gunslinger.
