"So you were asleep? Or maybe dead! Oh, wait, that doesn't make sense..." Lars's voice drops to a low mutter, but he looks down at his armor unconsciously and his eyes widen. "Or maybe you were dead, and you didn't know it...Or just deaf, or something," he adds, embarrassed.

"So, what're you doing here, friend?"

"Hello? Sir? Sorry to disturb you." Lars is impatient, and he speaks firmly and loudly.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

"I don't get it. What's it all mean?"

"Pfft, I bet you could jump it fine," Lars scoffs. "I'm more worried about myself. I can jump fine, but my armor could be a problem and I don't think I should take it off."
If the tying method could be done for one or both of us, that's cool.

Lars switches out his heavy shield with a buckler, holding a torch in the same hand as he enters the cavern.
So that's -1 from the listed AC (I should probably change it there though) and torchlight.
Taking 10 on those Survival checks for 16.
"Hey, a pit. Doesn't look natural, and what's that cloth at the bottom? How do you guys think we should best cross?"
Also, what should we do about the backpack? I don't remember the rules about Rangers and spells under 4th level, and I need to post this quickly.

"It was an order. Janira knows her stuff, better than we do. She'll draw it away, we do what we came here for." As much as I'd like to fight that thing eventually, Lars thinks.

Lars wipes off his blade while Janira heals his wounds. He thanks her, and, being a tracker, begins forging a new path ahead to the caves.
Survival: 10 + 6 = 16

I don't think it will confirm, but remember that firearms have a x4 multiplier.

"See why I hate dogs?!" Lars yells. He gets up, though he knows he will draw another bite from the wolf. Then he slices at the wolf and moves back 5'.
Attack on Wolf: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

"Suit yourself, I'll start the old-fashioned way." Lars moves towards the wolves, making himself a presentable target (2 squares ahead and in front of Saans) and drawing sword and shield. He then gets ready to slice at any wolf should it come within his reach.

"That's as may be. However, maybe we should figure out why the question is being asked, so we know who is considered stronger for its purposes." It's usually unlike Lars to speak so close to the point and, well, logically. But it's not beyond his capabilities and it's the most ideal solution when such an argument occurs.

"I believe that would be me," Lars proclaims, stepping forward and smirking.

Lars draws his longsword and shield, and places a flask of corrosive acid in his bandolier. His medium-long brown hair whips around his face as his head swiftly turns this way and that, on the lookout.

I also need to post from a phone for the time being, my initiative is +2.
Initative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

"I reckon I'm good on equipment. Acid, rope, weapons'n'such..." Lars pulls out his longsword and his spiked shield and begins to sharpen them with a whetstone and a loud screeching noise. "Might as well get these sharpened before we go," he shouts slightly over the racket.

We will change Kelsier for Vahanian, and when Kelsier had finished his current mission, he can PM me and I´ll open another table for "The Confirmation". It´s ok for all?

Is there any chance I could join that table when this is over, or should I make room for new people? I'm fine either way.

Lars furrows his brow in thought, something he doesn't do too often. "Well, I'm no expert, but let me think, I know some basics about the area..."

"N' sure they're instructive, but I've noticed they get a wee bit repetitive at times."

"Hah, you're not the only one...boring as a dwarf's drill, they were." Lars chuckles to himself. He's not one for questions, but even he knows the Society maxim that a combat avoided is a combat won. "It's always possible someone won't come back from somewhere alive..." Lars grimaces and scowls almost hatefully at his armor, the scales of which are shaped like skulls. "But did Master Shaine's have something specific in mind when he said that? I mean, what're th' locals like, would they attack us? Or would the gillmen, for that matter? What if we're intruding on 'em? Or do we not know, is this what we need to find out?"

The tan-skinned man wearing rough-and-tumble armor and adventuring gear speaks up. "Name's Lars, and I'm a professional tracker and undead slayer." He tears a hunk out of the flatbread sitting on his lap, apparently deep in thought. He can't think up a question, but then he snorts. "C'mon, this might be your Confirmation but you've been around the Lodge long enough to know that's Master Shaine, not Master Zay."

This will be my third time playing this scenario, my second time is not quite finished yet.
You should know that I need to post from a mobile device for a while and this cannot move my own character, if that's a problem tell me but I think it can be easily mitigated.

Well, I just felt like rushing I guess. Anyway, if you nerf or otherwise change encounters, is it still PFS legal? This might be a newbie question.

I have a level 2 warpriest if need be, but I'd prefer to level this guy. I'll fit them both for online play within the hour.
