Woo, a miss due to Inspire Defense! That could've been nasty. "He's deflecting your magic like it's nothing! Hobbs, do you have any more of those nice fireballs?" Seeing his sap deal no damage, Larrathion tries to stick his shortsword into the gnome's abdomen. Is Inspire Courage still active? If not, I'll wait until after Solomon and Xun, so I can profit from it. If they don't activate it, subtract 1 from to-hit and damage.
The gnome sparked with electricity. That's new. Larrathion takes a careful step back, drops his sap, and lays his hand on his chest, activating his Healer's Gloves.

Larrathion gets perforated by the fast-firing projectile spewer, but he's still standing. Looking around, he sees that his allies have taken care of the small fry as well. Though that scorpion poses a problem, there's not much Larrathion can do about it. "Nice work, people! Only the gnome left and we can leave this place!" Larrathion turns back around and races up the steps towards the blue-haired gnome. He slips past him and thwaps him on the head with his sap. Larrathion pales as he hears about the leaders. "Medusa, aren't those the ones that can turn you to stone? Don't we need special preparations for that?" I'm assuming several things are well-known enough in this world, such as a medusa's petrifying powers. Already chose my school item, in the Discussions tab: Lesser Healing Potion. I have two glyphs, so I'll roll randomly 1-5, in alphabetical order.
Dreadfang! gets one Hero Point, Zallara gets the other one.

Dreadfang! wrote: @Larrathion - joins assignments against his better judgement, or getting coerced into taking them? You mean my backstory? I always joke that he stays behind wherever the mission leaves him, instead of joining back at Pathfinder HQ, and then more Pathfinders come and "rescue" him from the wilderness. :P @ ‘Eκάτη: I'm guessing they're level 5, but haven't updated their profile in a while. Normally, yeah, you can't bring a level 2 in a 5-8.

Ohh, that Coyote Cloak looks exactly up my alley.

"Venture-Captain, ma'am," Larrathion begins, with a military salute. "I am unfamiliar with Numeria, but wouldn't it be easier to send out a single messenger or a small group with the information, rather than an entire caravan? Especially in areas as wild as these, apparently." Idiot, he thinks, why did you salute? You got out of army business ages ago. Venture-Captains don't require formal greeting. Old habits die hard, I guess. Anyway, sounds like a scouting job in the middle of nowhere. Maybe I can stay here after the mission is over... Larrathion is a half-elven male with mostly small weapons on his person. His clothing suggests he spends his time living outside of civilisation. The backstory I made for him is that he's a hermit of some kind that keeps getting dragged to the Pathfinder Society against his wishes, but I find it hard to convey that. >_>

Ah, thanks for catching that! That seems less useful than I'd hoped. I might want to retrain Natural Medicine away, then. Hobbs Picklesmith wrote: Two bards might not be the greatest idea. Won't they get in each others way? Depends. The nice thing is that if one Bard doesn't sustain their song, the other can pick up the slack. Plus, by this level, there's lots of different songs that could be active. And Bards are much more than just their songs, they still have their spells, so it's not like they're useless once their song is active. Looking at the signups, we have two primarily magic users (Sorcerer and Wizard), one Bard, and two frontline (Monk and Ranger). That seems like a healthy mix. I'd personally lean towards the Barbarian, but both options seem fine to me.
