I was actually thinking of knocking him out, regardless best to have the guards where we can pounce on them if the dice gods spit on us.
Lani begins to laugh tauting the guard behind the other seeking his eyes with hers and mentioning for him to enter by slightly moving her head. "C'mon dear don't you like a song? Enjoy it with us will you?" "If Lucia can take the other one, then taking this one out should be easy."
Lani nods and return to her cell she puts the shackles on herself but doesn't close them, she tries to look as harmless as possible, after settling she looks to others and asks: "How about we annoy them with our laughter and conversation? Remember them of our unrepentance?"
"Answer me... damn beast..." Lani thinks furiously, only calming down when she notices Tin taking care of the ogre, "Drugged perhaps?" After calming down Lani whispers a plan: "We could shout that one of uss has partially freed himself, I don't think they sound an alarm for that, once they are inside, well..." Lani nods towards he claws with a feral smile.
Lani rises and stretches after being freed by Slevin "Quite a useful man." Upon hearing the ogre talk Lani answers ina soft voice: "Of course we are going to free you! It is unworthy that one of your strength should be chained so." "A strength we could use..."
"Quite useful... Lani watches Slevin freeing himself. Then she speaks: "Should we kick up a fuss? Or can you free more of us?" Lani nods towards her own bonds.
"A plan? I be delighted to hear it, tough I have a suggestion, if the guard sees one of us free I think he might be persuaded to enter this cell." Lani answers while looking at Tin interested in her actions.
"We are not going anywhere soon, so I think we take a good look at this veil." As lani talks she nods toughtfully.
Lani glares at the sargeant and soldiers, but makes no movement. "I didn't know we were allowed visitor..." After the guards leave Lani speaks: [b]"Lani Fairchild. That is my name" "If I escape I'm killing that man... If, if, if...
"Murder... job... perhaps an assassin? Lani smiles at Jasha "Another servant of milord... Perhpas there is a chance here." "So you are also a servant to milord. I converted too of Sir Balin friends to milord service, he didn't take that very well." Lani then focus her gaze at the guard outside the cell, gauging his dedication and competence at his job. After all it is not like they could go anywhere.
Lani gives a feral smile before answering "I believe they called it heresy, teaching milord words." "Slaving and slave-trading? I wonder what can she do?"
Lani lays chained as the other prisioners, she isn't interested in them though, no Lani thinks of the branded "F" in her arm and she thinks of helh's fire, she thinks of her failure, her coming punishment yet... "Milord if you give another chance..." Lani is looking at the shacles binding her, testing them with her arms. Then her curiosity finally makes her look at the others, she looks at each of them in turn, waiting so she can make eye contact with them and observing their reactions to her eye. Smiling at seeing the pentagram in the man eye. Finally she asks: "What are you here for? Murder? Treason? Working on the slave trade? Arson? Theft or piracy? Or could it be heresy?" Lani laughs while saying the last words. "Theirs is the heresy!"

Changing Lani's to have the variant channeling ability of Tiranny, since she already has direct damage dealing in other effects.
Well I gonna edit gramatical errors and clarify the point about her dead mother. (I think it works best this way.) Aside from that I think Lani is ready. Lani's mechanic info: Lani is a damage dealer, since we begin without equipment she is going to be something of a glass canon initially since her dex mod is +1. Lani is a melee combatant. As for out of combat she can work as the party's face, and that is pretty much it, Paladin's aren't the most skillfull characters. As for flaw's and foibles: Lani is arrogant, not simply a bit arrogant quite a lot, her superiority complex makes it so she doesn't give a damn about anyone who can't be of use to her. On the other hand though Lani's arrogance is going to be a bit clipped since her capture, and she considers servants of her god at being in an equal footing with her. (At least initially). But she is also a liar so she doesn't have a problem acting humble and doing things she would consider beneath her. I guess at her core she is pratical XD. Lani's like power, she likes attention only as power over others and doesn't care about it otherwise.
Still here and interested to get my revenge :) Yes revenge would be nice, nice indeed. |
