Your assumption is correct. I suspect that might even be what the 1+half level formula is for, so that you have some resistance even at very low level.

Thanks, that is what I have been getting else where and just wanted to check here also.

"Even when you are struck, your armor protects you from some harm. While wearing medium or heavy armor, you gain resistance to physical damage equal to 1 + half your level. In addition, you can rest normally while wearing medium and heavy armor."

My question is, is your half you level rounded down, so at level 1 you have resistance 1, that seems to be what the general thought is from my search, but I know spells and such on a save are half damage round down to a minimum of 1, which would give you resistance 2 if that applied with that thought process.

Can someone please clarify this for me.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I played my first game tonight and was told that I needed to log my game online. I am not seeing where I am supposed to log anything, when I go to the campaigns page all I get is that I have not played in any online games. Am I missing where I am supposed to go or is there some issue with it?

It depends on the adventure's plot. How much do the PCs want vs. how much do events in the world that the GM has planned intercede? Sometimes there will be very little downtime, because you're rushing around pursuing the plot. Others there may be a lot, because you finished one piece and have no deadline to begin the next thing.

I think it's good design to periodically provide some downtime opportunities to regear and retrain, but it depends.

Ok thanks. My group tends to play a West Marches campaign so I guess we will have to make something up.

I cannot seem to find how much downtime days to award after an adventure anywhere in the book. I can find what you can do with them but not how many your get and how often.
