Bummer! and thanks for letting me know! :-D
guess i'll have to find something else for hubby's bday :-(

First off, i wanted to say thank you VERY much for cancelling the part of my order for the Combat Pad (due to my sister in law not telling me she was getting it for my husband) but i was wondering how to go about still purchasing the other item on this order. It says it is pending, so i didn't want to place a new order and then find out it was still a valid order. So just wondering if the order is cancelled completely and if it is safe to place a new order for the munchkin d10? (Since the Gift card I had previously been charged for and was already credited to the account it was supposed to be).

Thanks!

Would love to go, will have to see about finances and husband (might be one more year before we can manage but who knows). Gencon had to go and take away our local con a few years ago :(

Sounds like a blast though :)

Depending on how long it takes us to get through our current campaigns (which include Rise of the Runelords once a week, as well as two other campaigns that alternate weeks - Trinity and Changeling) We will Definately be playing some form of Paizo Adventure path (Love the new rules) and whatever else we talk the DM into running. Maybe another changeling game, Maybe something in Ebberon, who knows.
I do know we're not too interested in 4e.

I would have to say I am fondest of Ebberon though I do love Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance. Golarion Is starting to grow on me the more i play it and may end up replacing the others, but it is too early still for me to say.

We just get 72 ability points, assign them how you wish. It was tough for my husband to give up the random coolness of dice rolling for ability scores, but since I defy the laws of probability, it was totally necessary if I was ever going to have a playable character:)

Lol.. Yeah my group has stopped rolling dice because even if I rolled in front of the guys they still thought I was cheating :) (though the other players were quick to borrow my dice when rolling up their own stats, and usualy rolled even higher) So now we do the typical point buy systems, 32 or 28, though with the new rules it's 25. Don't mind it since we have a nice sized group and usually we balance each other out where needed.

Thanks for all your advice, iI really appreciate it. (Though Vigil is a bit biased on his critiquing :P ) I haven't heard of darklining, but it sounds interesting. As far as what I Did use on this mini, I have a Citadel black wash, and a white primer (I think it's Valspar? from a local craft store)and a #2 Winsor & Newton brush. I do prefer the #2 for most work on the mini, though occasionally i'll use smaller ones. not as much control i've noticed with the smaller ones. As well as a matte spray for finishing. (I have access to Vigil's collection :-P ) I think I will probably check out CMON for the tutorial info and wait til i have a bit more practice before posting on there though. :)

I am new to the world of painting pewter mini's having so far only painted 2. i am looking for criticism, suggestions, and any advice you are willing to give to a newbie :) Thanks! This mini IS based off of the picture of the gnome academy wizard from one of the pathfinder books, don't remember which one (husband has the subscription and is the DM). Please check out the images and let me know.
