Very even stat line. Or i could have gone with stat line 3 with a higher main stat, and a low dump
I'm currently running a game with Mythic and it can make the game a lot more interesting. You can still put an evil spin on it, which is probably what we would keep unless we want a mythic flaw. Plus we will need our moment of "ascension" As for UC, love the book, would defiantly like to look into property owning as I could see Natalia as the owner of a magic shop that has extensive black market items for sale to only discrete people I'm ok with more players, but unless you can update once a day, it may scare off the less dedicated players
"I am quite certain the letter was from the Prophets of Kalistrade, the white gloved aristocrats of Druma. I've had some experience with them in the past, not exactly a pleasant memory."
Natalia smiles, "Or at the very least, prevent her from talking."
Natalia shakes her head "I would prefer to use my shadow candle only for when we far from Absalom. Since we are here, there's a much easier course of action." Natalia walks over to the bartender, "I'll take an Ice Wine please, and we need to report to the boss as soon as we are able to."
Natalia shrugs, Why would a profiteering organization of merchants resort to thievery? "Not sure my large friend, but one thing is for certain, I'm quite certain it was the Prophets of Kalistrade. A group of merchants and journeymen based in Durma who strive for personal wealth. Seems a whole country is ill with envy at our theft..."
Natalia reads through the scroll before tossing it back on the table. "I wasn't aware of any other groups interested in the chest. This makes things complicated..."
Natalia nods to Ragar, "Indeed, we must head back to the tavern. Our task is the "rescue" of our compatriot. Glad that we are dealing with paladin's who feel torture abhorrent..."
Natalia lays a hand on Ragar to calm the big man, "Come now Ragar, our escort job is almost complete. Let the guards take away this thief. I'm certain the great Paladin's of Abadar will see that the proper amount of justice is shown to her."
Knowing the answer before it was given, Natalia askes, "And where is this trio of saboteurs?" She raises her eyebrows, ready for the answer she is expecting.
Natalia will come around from the other side of the chest and will point at Martil "Freeze..."
The area around Martil and her attackers begins to frost over until it's completely covered in ice. The chill of the air causes everyone to see their breaths.
Natalia will begin to make gestures and say words of an offensive arcane spell, but will suddenly curse like she has been counter-spelled. Under her breath she will cast Prestidigitation which will carry over the little bottle of oil of invisibility and pour it over the gem.
Natalia lets out a hiss as they are attacked, she aims her finger at one of the attackers, and fires at chunk of ice.
But the ice goes sailing over his head. Just as she is about to counter attack, she begins to feel sleepy.
And slumps down in sleep.
Natalia arrives at the chest along with Ragar and leans up against it. "Reduced to simply guard duty! Can't believe we have fallen so low.. eh Ragar old boy?"

Natalia smiles at Ragar, "I prefer to think of it as common sense. Brilliance shall come later. I however appreciate the compliment!"
Natalia speaks for the first time this morning "The only piece I would like to add is procuring an oil of invisibility for the gem. With the oil, it will look like you are simply touching the chest. We may also need to prevent it from being seen, possibly with a mind block spell."
Natalia dismisses her invisibility spell from her spot at the table. No one is sure how long she had been sitting there, but long enough.
Natalia gets her meaning and pushes her gently towards the bath house, "I think I will join you.." She turns around to Ragar and the rest of the group. "Don't wait up..." And laughs at her own comment.
Natalia stand up from her seat and stretches slightly from sitting for so long "Usually we can use the inn here as it is surprisingly private. We even have rooms upstairs" She says with a purr.
Same here! Bring it on!
"It should be very interesting to say the least. A seemingly impossible task is what we do..."
Natalia thinks over the plan as presented, "I'm not much of a sneaky one, so I volunteer to not be the one to hold the gem. However I think an oil of invisibility will help conceal it from prying eyes."
Natalia listens to Shula's impromptu plan, "There's a spell for the chest, it makes anything buoyant in water..."
Natalia whispers in Shula's ear from behind her "Plenty of bad people in this room as well..." She smiles with glee at the Tiefling.
Natalia pushes away from Martil and smiles and whispers to Ragar, "Feels just like our first day! I'm brimming with excitement to see where we are going first!"
Natalia turns to Martil with a mischievous smile, "Especially for this one!" Natalia grabs her by the back of the neck and plants a kiss upon her lips.
Natalia raises her glass to the three "Congratulations to the new blood, and listen to Ragar, your wits will keep that new blood from spilling."
Natalia turns to Rupert, "A better offer presented itself, both for myself and for the organization. Was sent back home to Whitethrone to improve my ice magic to a deadly degree."
"Yes my dear Ragar, it appears the weak willed are not suited for our tasks. More the better for us!"
Natalia gives the young drow a smile, "Welcome to the club! We'll have to figure out your initiation later!"
Lady Natalia drains her second glass of wine "I do hope our benefactors reveal themselves soon. It will be nice to get back on the job after so many months away!"
Natalia puts her arm around Martil shoulder, signify to Kedrick that she has laid claim to this one. "Oh don't you worry about that just yet. Our leaders are watching us as we speak. They will make their presence known after we have gotten to know each other a little bit!"
Natalia becomes intent when the conversation turns to poisons and watching their victims die. "I'm afraid I don't show the same enthusiasm for poison. Why only have a few second of pain on their faces when you can freeze them to death, preserving the look for decades" She smiles at the thought of an ice statue garden.
Natalia takes the offered glass of wine with a smile "Appreciated Ragar, you know how to treat a lady. Especially one as rapid like me!"
Natalia purrs at Martil as they seal the conversation with a kiss, she then turns to Ragar and smiles at him. "Our reports will also determine who is on our teams as we usually split up to achieve separate goals at once!" She empties her glass of wine and looks at Ragar with pleading eyes for another.
Natalia smells, seemingly satisfied with the response, She's a deceitful one, but then again, so am I. She lets go of the drow's neck, "Loyalty is all we ask, I would lie down my life to further the goals of the organization and we must make sure we find like minded people"
Natalia leans forward towards Martil and lightly grasps her around the neck. She intently studies the drow woman. "A creature of the divine, and a drow to boot. I have not seen one such as yourself before..." She caresses her cheek with her thumb before whispering in here ear. "The Blood Knives demand loyalty. Will you put us before your god and face the fall out? Would you swear your life for ours? Would you ever back stab one of us for your own twisted goals?"
Natalia looks at Martil intently waiting to catch the young drow's eye. Once she has it, she waves her over, patting the seat beside her. She crosses her legs and waits for Martil to take the offered seat.
Natalia laughs, a thought amusing her, "What ever shall we do for their initiation? Some sort of hazing perhaps?" She eyes the candidates with fierce intensity.
Natalia leans closely to Ragar to whisper, "A few that I would take to my bed..." She eyes Martil and Shula. "And one or two I may like to feed to the winter wolves in Whitethrone... But is there anyone I would trust to take on a job? I'm afraid only you hold that position in my mind, old friend. Our lovely guildmasters will need to make that decision." She sips from her wine, ignoring the comments of the gnome who smelled of death. |
