Kyomi sighs as she looks to Belaria at the others words and raised an eyebrow. "I often wonder if you drink too much, Bel." She then looked to Ameiko and gives a small sniff of the air as if to try and smell what was wrong with her while being subtle about it.
Kyomi wasn't the best with maps like her sister but she did know some things about hunting and staying alive while on the road at night.
As they travel, Kyomi would disappear into the woods in search of fire wood or animals safe enough to eat for the group. Fresh meat was better than stored meat after all.
Kyomi looked over and smiled at the sight of the goblin catching up with them last minute as she finished tying down the last of her things, securing her pack onto the back of her horse which she had gotten earlier in the week. "Now it really feels like an adventure! Glad to see you wanted to join us after all, Proudstump." She grinned before easily mounting her horse, offering a hand to Proudstump and offering for him to ride with her on the back of her horse as an option for him if he does not wish to ride on one of the carts.
Kyomi grinned as she thought of exploring other woods and just the ones outside of Sandpoint. "Just hope sis wont mind the company. But I'm in. A chance to explore outside of these lands sounds like a great idea. Just dont get spooked too bad if I have to shift some times just to stretch my legs in my true form."
Kyomi raises a silent eyebrow at Bel's words and, still scratching ag her neck and arms, gives a small little laugh and a shake of her head. "I think you mean to say that Shalelu is more worried about you going soft miss stick to town. I tend to go for walks in the woods sometimes and sometimes i tend to step out of the village just to avoid some people trying to drag me into her shenanigins." She lightly teases the other before hissing as she scratches just a little bit more. "I think a rest would do us some good either way."
Lets out a sort of odd whimper sound as she scratches behind her ears and her neck and fore arms, red patches forming in the places she scratched. "This is way worse then when I had fleas that one time when I was a pup!!"
Kyomi seemed to relax at her sister's silent acceptance before she blinked and looked over at Liam, silently raising an eyebrow as the ears on her head twitched and her tail swayed behind her lazily as if in joking reminder. "You were not seeing things, Liam. Though being called a fox is a new one for me. I've heard demon. Whore. Trash. Never fox. Though close in comparison. I'm Kitsune to be exact. I take on this form to appear more friendly and communicate better with others. I try not to take my true form so often. I rely mostly on my skills with the bow to make my point and I utilize my senses to be a better archer. Never had a pention for biting others. Only when I deem it truly neccessary. Today was one such instance."
Taking a moment to shift her form back to her more human like appearance, Kyomi took a moment to take in those who may have seen her true appearance. She was more worried about how Bel would react to seeing that side of her. She also knew how it looked. She could shift her shape at will unlike a werewolf but she wasn't quite sure if many knew the difference. She pulled her bow from her back once again and took a look at their surroundings.
Kyomi shoulders her bow and reaches into the small pouch on her lower back, taking a handful of what appears to be a rather colorful powder. "Sorry for the fright in advanced everyone.' And she begins shifting her shape, taking on her true form. She stood on the balls of her feet and she was covered from head to toe in reddish brown fur. Her gold eyes seemed to glimmer in this form as she snarled at the nearest skeleton to her before lunging and attacking its leg in a bite.
Kyomi looks in the direction of Liam before taking aim with an arrow as if on instinct at the sound of Liam's cry of pain. "Liam! Not on my watch!"
She releases the arrow from her bow as she releases a breath she had been holding, hoping the arrow hits its mark.
Kyomi nods in agreement as she eyes the side of the chest before resting a hand on her hip. "Anything might be better then staying here at the given moment. But sunken treasure? I hope we don't have to actually dive under water." She shivered at the thought. If there's one thing she hated, it was getting her fur wet. In either of her forms.
Kyomi pulled an arrow from the quiver on her hip as she drew her bow from her back. Knocking the arrow into place, she aimed the pointed arrowhead at the goblin chief. "The only traitor I see here is you chief. Your people are terrified or dead while you hole yourself up in your hall. In my clan... you would've been disposed of immediately from your position."
Kyomi took in the sight of those goblins that had fallen. It was true she had her own reasonings to distrust goblins and not want to work with them but even she wasnt this cold hearted. She tightened the hold she had on the bow in her hand as her eyes scanned about her. She knelt beside a body and sighed as she bowed her head, giving a silent prayer to the fallen goblin she had found. 'My clan may have had its own issues with goblins but none would go to such lengths... Havi is right... But why a village of goblins in the first place? What could the undead have wanted here? She looks around, eyes narrowing as she looked for any sign as to what may have been reason for the attack in the first place.
"Good with a bow you say, Mr. Proudstump? I happen to be good with a bow myself. The more bow users the better in my own opinion really. Easier to take a target down from afar.' Kyomi smiled before it fell at the goblin's words and rolled her eyes. "heroes amongst your people perhaps but outside your little village, your nothing but a nuisance." She sneered, glaring at the goblin.
Kyomi steps into the house, looking around to take in their surroundings as she took a spot up against a wall in case anyone else wanted or needed a chair more then she did. She did she shiver at the thought of snakes however. "The one animal that can get me to steer clear of swamps. I'm not that big a fan of snakes. I'll treat them with respect but no thank you."
Kyomi looked up at Shalelu before watching the others retreating back before she looked to Bel and gave a silent nod. You heard what she told us. Come on. Lets just use what knowledge we do have and find these other goblins. She then turned towards Liam and nodded her head in agreement, snickering as the goblin was jerked along none to gently it looked like as she walked beside Bel. Seems i missed a little bit of the fun. I should really start sticking to town more often if you keep finding yourself mixed up with misfits, Bel.
"Taking him with us might be the best plan,. Albeit an unwelcomed plan by some I'm sure, myself included, but we still run the risk of him running off if we do take him with us and cause even worse trouble else where." She was slightly sure she could track the goblin down but she wasn't completely certain she could either way. But those were her thoughts on taking the creature with them.
Kyomi jumps from her pearch on the rafters above, landing with a thud before she stood up and dusted her pants off, flicking off a leaf from her clothing as she had followed the others from the woods. Well now, if he doesn't scare you, perhaps I can shift my shape and turn you into my own personal chew toy. Though I doubt you'd make a very good one. Though the fear can be smelled rolling off of you either way. She hums as she stands and leaves herself, ears flicking as she listened for where the others might have gone.
From the bar, black ears twitched as a female Kitsune finished of the drink she had in her hand before turning towards a table where she caught a familiar drunken voice slur something about fighting goblins. Kyomi gets up from her seat and walks over to the group, tail swaying behind her as she approached. "What's this I hear about fighting off gobbos tomorrow? Need an extra hand?" |
