Kynni's page

Shantare wakes, and goes about packing up her things and getting ready. She goes downstairs, hoping to find some breakfast somewhere in the inn.

"Are you serving any food this morning?" She askes of whoever is at the bar. She looks around, wondering where all her companions went, but assuming she would meet up again eventually.

"Good morning, M'lady. Indeed, we have porridge with honey, fresh bacon, and we can even make you a poached quail egg, if you like. Your friend was up and out early this morning. I heard her mention she was on her way to find Mitnal, the basket weaver."

"Some of your rabbit stew and ... no wine ... Could you give me sweetened hot water?" asks Mitnal.

"Nothing fermented for me either," says Kinmorn with a smile, "Juice or water, but the rabbit stew sounds good, and both sides."

"Teatotallers, eh? Well then I have a treat for you. Our Lady Ameiko has recently acquired a supply of a delicate, fruited tea. Don't ask me where it's from. She won't tell me. But it's delicious, and not the slightest bit alcoholic. You'll love it, I promise."

And with that, Kynni heads back into the kitchen.

"Gengar, you rake, where did you find so many friends? Did you entice them with the promise of drink? It certainly wasn't with your charm and wit," Kynni says with a smile. "Did you want the table wine, or can I tempt you with a bottle of Ilsurian '99?"
