”You are definitely wiser than Haps, more humane as well, as Svetlana said you were..” she says to Kressle.

"Ah, so Svetlana has asked you to give me the benefit of the doubt? Well, I suppose I should reciprocate."

She hands you a golden ring, obviously a wedding band.
"Haps took this from her a while ago, I'm sure she would want it back."

She twirls her finger in the air, calling the rest of her band to follow her.
"Mount up, boys! We'll let these folks try and butt heads with the Stag lord."

She looks back to you.
"I wish you luck, you'll need it. Oh, and you can take care of him as well." She gestures to a man that is bound to a tree.

With that, she leads the rest of them off into the forest, heading Northwest.

As Harter makes his presence known, the bandits react startled and several draw weapons. The woman that had been speaking looks surprised, but recovers very fast.

"So, you're the ones that took out Haps. I half expected you to show up soon. You talk tough for someone that is outnumbered." She glances around seeing that they have more than twice your numbers (apprently she has not noticed Ivo or Piret yet).
She barks out a short laugh.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to attack you. We were just planning on leaving. The Stag Lord has become nothing but a drunkard now. He rarely even leaves his fort anymore. However, we aren't going to bow to an Restov lackey either."

She pauses and gestures to the camp.
"We are leaving, you are welcome to his spoils. If you try to stop us from leaving though, then we will have a problem."

"Listen, I'm willing to wait out here while you decide how you want to handle this, just don't take too long."

@ Pyros:
"Once I go in there, there won't be any waiting for nightfall. The Stag Lord knows I am not his anymore since I abandoned the Thorn River camp. There will be an immediate confrontation."

"I can easily get us through the gate, but they will probably meet us in the courtyard before the main house." She looks around at both groups.
"Though we do have the numbers to make it a close fight. If you have any other idea, I'm all ears."

"There's probably a dozen or so people in there at any one time. Plus Akiros will be in there, he's the Stag Lord's right hand man, although I don't know why. I think he is running from something, but he definitely has some sort of noble or church background, and he is the best fighter I've ever seen. Auchs and Dovan are there too. Auchs is just a stupid brute, but he is very capable. Dovan is a scary one. He gives me the creeps with the way he loves to hurt people. He relies more on stealth and striking people at a disadvantage, and he just loves torture."

Kressle cocks her head at the proffered bottle.
"Sure. I'll drink to that." She takes a swig from the bottle.
"You're welcome to whatever is here, but there will probably be a group in a day or so to collect from here."
With that, she waves her companions to follow and they start to head off.

"Fine, I won't cut your throat for now, but I'm also not kneeling to some Restov upstart! Why would you want to make peace? Listening to Svetlana I suppose. Even so, mercy is a concept I haven't heard in the Stolen Lands for a long time."
Kressle pauses for a moment in thought.
"Ok, here's my piece. The Stag Lord has been spending more time in the bottom of a bottle than in paying attention to what's happening around him. If he won't answer an insult from some Restov crook like Jamandi, then you're right -- we chose the wrong leader. So go ahead, do what your gonna do. I won't stop you, but I won't help you either. And here... give this to Svetlana."
Kressle hands you a gold wedding band.

At Kressle's getsure, it appears that all the others are standing down for the moment.

"Surrender? And what does that get me? A hangman's noose?" Kressle responds.

This time Faerin's approach is not as quiet and Kressle, who was kicking the ground irritably, looks up and smirks.
"Well, look who's here."

She waves down her companions and makes no move towards her axes.

"I was expecting you to show up eventually."
