Guys, I am reading the rules right now and there are some matters about multiclassing, which I don't realy understand.
I intend to create a half-elf multiclass rogue/ranger (or rogue/fighter) charachter and later advance him to become a duelist
The rules about half-elfs mention that they can choose two favored classes, and about multiclassing: ''Note that there are a number of effects and prerequisites that rely on a character’s level or Hit Dice. Such effects are always based on the total number of levels or Hit Dice a character possesses, not just those from one class. The exception to this is class abilities, most of which are based on the total number of class levels that a character possesses of that particular class.''
What about matters such as base attacks bonuses, saves and hit dies?
For example a ranger has Hit Die: d10 and a rogue d8. For a multiclass rogue/ranger charachter which of the two is to be considered valid assuming that they are both favored classes and the duelist has a Hit Dice of d10?
Thanks!
