About Korgidd Darragdem

Hailing from Barak Varr, Korgidd eagerly accepted the role of defender of his kin and home. Having spent his time serving his homeland, protecting his home from the denizens of the deep mines, Korgidd has set out into the world to seek the remnants of his ancestors.

Korgidd's family, while all stout warriors, traditionally made their livings as skilled craftsmen. Korgidd is the son of Rourke of the Nines, grandson of the Longbeard Korgidd Orcslayer, descendant of the Master Runesmiths of Clan Darragdem. Forging formidable weapons and armors, the clan's reputation spread far throughout the Empire and Korgidd's ancestors' crafts were sought by many. Now, his family's wealth in decline, eclipsed by the work of other craftsmen and distracted by the constant struggles of Barak Varr against the greenskins, Korgidd seeks to recover some of the dwarfen goods, crafted by his clan over the centuries. So he wanders, his knowledge of his clan's best efforts guiding him towards the metal pieces of his history.

Not long ago, Korgidd learned that a well known dwarfen hero, who was disgraced and entered into the cult of the Slayers, was last seen entering, but not leaving, the tunnels beneath Karak Azgal. He was known to carry a warhammer etched with rune magic, crafted by Korgidd's grandfather. Korgidd has thus set out to recover this artifact from the depth's of the Dragon Crag.
