I'd prolly roll a combat oracle, half-orc, similar to this one...

Self-sufficient, and decent in combat...heavy armor, heavy flail, cures...

A Massive half(?) orc strides into town, female, you think, hard to tell with all the muscles, and the large tusks she's sporting. Standing six foot seven, weighing a lean 10.5+ stones (215#), over her should she carries a large flail. A strange marking, a birth mark perhaps, covers her face.

"Where Korgana find drink to parch her thirst?"

Knowledge (religion):
It appears to be a birthmark in the shape of the holy symbol of Gorum

Korganna Skullcracker was my character for Master of the Fallen Fortress (which died before the end of the adventure =( )

Plot Hooks:
#1 She's in town for the festival looking for a slaver that was reportedly in the area.

#2 She's in the area looking for fun, bar brawls can be fun, she loves throwing down with a strong opponent.

She's a Half Orc Battle Oracle of Gorum.

Korganna starts surveying the tower for a stone to collapse the entire tower, cuz she's bored...

Which square is Korganna five foot stepping to?

the one between the two of them, regardless of the heat danger...she's in her battle frenzy...

Korganna Shouts "Ki plis tankou li!" As she drops into her battle mode.

She leaps into the air and brings her flail down on one of them (5ft step)

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Korganna looks a bit disappointed in the lack of enemies to challenge.

"Korganna not like this, not enough enemy."

Harold Wainright wrote:
I imagine Korganna would like to, but if she does not, Harold will happily open the door :-)

Korganna mostly likes being first through....open it up and she can charge thru...heh

pats Gandel on the head.

"Good job Gandel, Korganna approve!"

Valletin Ra'ul wrote:
"Korganna, maybe we should let Gandel try first?"

"Korganna be convinced to acquiesce. Korganna like Gandel, he not make Korganna feel like freak." Korganna's orcish sentence structure makes you forget she is intelligent, until she uses a 10 platinum word.

"Want Korganna open lock? Korganna pick lock good." As she hefts her flail.

"You want Korganna go first? Korganna have no problem going first...More destruction that way."

Korganna stands there obsessively picking little bits out of the wall.

Yeah, sorry guys I was sick as a dog thursday-monday...sorry I held you up

Well Korganna would have opened the stuck door, or charged through the other door that someone else opened. But since nothing happened, we're good.

Sorry for my absence over the weekend, got sick on Friday, plus my wife's away, so taking care of the kids by myself currently.

"So the stuck door or the other door you want Korganna to open?

"That true, Korganna did say Korganna not destroy tower til after we done. Oh, Korganna know, you open door, Korganna rush through...That sound good?"

LOL and hopefully there will be floor on the other side...though that would be an hilarious death!

[b]"You want easy door open or hard door open?"[b]

"Èske gen pesonn pa fò ase figi m'?"

Abyssal:
Is there no one strong enough to face me?

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

As she comes down off of her battle rush, she says. "So much rusted junk. Maybe some of it can be cleaned up and given to peasants."

WI! kounye a nou fè batay

Korganna leaps to attack (hoping no one gets in her way) D8, if it's still there, otherwise move to where the rear on is.

Charge 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Crit? 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 No..=(

Damage 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

I love google translate, I'm using Haitian creole as abyssal, no slight to the language, just neat to have it mean something real

Bump...back to our regularly scheduled adventure program?

Korganna tries to kick open the Door...

This Door!

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Korganna looks visibly angry now...

"Bah, Korganna had wanted fight!"

Glancing at the Javelin trap, Harold wryly comments:

?

was that part of the survival check?

Harold Wainright wrote:
For clarification, that was the South door, right?

Sounds fine to Korganna

Korganna holds her flail in one hand while she opens the door with the other, ready to spring back or forward to attack.

I: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

"But Korganna like open doors..."

Korganna looks around... darkvision

"Korganna first, correct." She grins and pats Valletin on the head, maybe a little too hard. Then climbs the rope, and crawls into the next space.

forgot the climb roll

"Maybe we come back for those, Korganna can toss rubble like pebbles."

"Well now I'm sorry we killed the spider, if it was helping to keep down the rabid dog population." Murro says. "I guess we might as well get on with it. Lead on, muscles."

"Dat dog not rabid, Korganna think that one was pet...Pet named Kita, like Kitteh...Oh well, time to BURN!"

She lights up the spider web with a gleam in her eye.

"Burn with me.

"UP!!! Korganna forgot to look up!"

She'll still cast spark, unless the spider drops before she can do it.

"Korganna can do..."

Cautiously she will get closer to the webs, flail ready, looking for nasty arachnids. If safe she'll use spark to ignite the webs.

"Flickum bicus!"

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

So intent on the coming destructive power of flame, that she isn't exactly cautious...almost skipping up to the webs...

bad time for a flub...

"Thankee Gandel" Korganna says with a tusked grin as she bends over to tussle his hair. "OK let us explore, Korganna go first..." as she pushes past

"Korganna got style? that different than class? Usually people say Korganna got no class."

"What you want dogs to go to waste? Fine Korganna eat them all, nice big meal...Dead dog also good for detecting trap..."

As she throws the broken dog through the entrance.

Subtle is one thing this character isn't...

"Kraas B'gaal dg voosh" Korganna says as she goes to retrieve her axe, then she drags the corpses of the animals together. Coming out of her battle haze she says "These will make good food."

"G'kresh vallek!" Korganna shouts as the final mutt flees.

Moves to R12, then throws her axe at the fleeing animal.

Thrown Weapon1d20 + 3 - 5 ⇒ (16) + 3 - 5 = 14 40ft range (max range 50ft)
Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Valletin will charge at the dog next to Korganna, impaling the beast with his scythe

To wound 2d4 + 3

That one might be long gone before you get there...

Korganna will crush the offending dog!

"D'sheal tu'vaas blayaquell"She shouts as she enters the fray, swinging her Heavy flail at the dog.
atk 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
dmg 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Crit confirmed?
atk 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
dmg 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Abyssal translation:
"Rough Beast take you"!

Murro eyes the ruined hulk with distaste. "How disappointing," he said dryly. "I'd hoped it be more intact."

He rubbed idly at his smooth-shaven chin, frowning. "Well, I suppose we should be on with it. Lead the way, muscles. Try not to bring the ceiling down upon our heads."

"Korganna not bring down on heads, Korganna bring down after we leave, OK?"

"Oh Kay, Korganna go first."

Korganna casts detect magic

Korganna awakes and prepares for the day, carefuly packing her gear, making sure her shovel and crowbar are secured in her large sack, she purchases a few more days of rations, has a nice morning mug of warm stout with a spicy Jalmeray sausage with some scrambled eggs topped with Vudran spices, after breakfast she "accidentally" knocks the clay mug off the table. She could get used to this kind of life. Better than the last town where she "accidentally" lit the drapes on fire.

I wouldn't have thought arm wrestling would involve a Combat Manuever at all. I'd have thought it'd be a straight up strength check. *shrug*
Good point. Either way, oh well. Vote to move on to adventure? Either way is good with me. Let me know.

I figured it was Maneuver related since it does involve a bit of maneuver, and size matters with it as well, since leverage is a big big part of it. I vote to move on as well.

"Korganna not want stay up all night, big day tomorrow, Korganna need rest, not more booze." Korganna says with a too wide grin.

Gandel gives Korganna a mischievous grin. "Well, luv, yer a bit taller than my usual type, but I'd be willin' t' give a bit of arm-wrestlin' a go. A silver says I take you down in less than thirty seconds."

"And the name's Gandel by the way."

"Oh me sorry, Gandel, Korganna thought she heard you called Grendel by some one. Me think you funny...30 seconds, it's a bet!"

Korganna kneels on the ground to get low enough to the table for arm wrestle the little spitfire halfling, She realizes that her hands being almost the size of his head makes it a bit difficult and extends two fingers for him to grip.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 CMB roll sounds right

"Murro, you wanna wrasl?"

"Grendel"?

"Who want arm wrasl?"Korganna says with a toothy grin.

Korganna accepts the drink from Murro, and slaps him on the back, prolly a little too hard.

"Korganna know you understand O Kay, me let you buy drink, but no funny stuff perdy boy"
