Sovereign Court 3/5

In our "GM Sessions" page, there is a subfield called "Player" showing our PFS main ID.

I'm curious about why my GM sessions need it, because no doubt it's mine ID.

In fact, if there change to character ID will be more useful. Because you can't find GM session in your character's session page. So if your character have changed name before use in game, you will hard to find how many GM session it already have.

Baba Yaga has a special attack called "Forceful Will". Is there anyone know what is it?

Sovereign Court

Hello everyone!I have a simple question.

If one class have two different class features can both add level to the damage, so how does it work?

Example:

Oath against Chaos Paladin: Smite Chaos + Smite Evil
Daring Champion Cavalier:Challenge + Precise Strike
Virtuous Bravo Paladin(from Hero of High Court, not in Additional Resources yet): Smite Evil + Precise Strike

Does it considered to be the same source, or not? how many damage when the first hit on a double smited demon? X4?

We were argued in PFS game. NO one can convince the other one.

I have a question about Persistent Spell Metamagic Feats.
1) Does is apply to any save which include in a spell?
2) If not, how to judge these spell?
Glitterdust(have a save in first time but have new saves to stop spell effect)
Phantasmal Killer(have different saves in first time)
Aqueous Orb(effect different target, have different saves in different round)
Excruciating Deformation(spell active and require save round by round)

I have be asked by many PC and GM in PFS game. Not everyone like this but it's very effective when SOD.

2 people marked this as FAQ candidate.

I want to know the the rage power in books after Unchained is available to unchained barbarian or not?

Is unchained barbarian allways under control by the blog of two years before?

If I use two feats make an Ebony Fly to companion of a human druid. Can I ride it, and let it attack as a horse?

Quote:

Ebony Fly:
Ebony Fly: This becomes a black fly the size of a pony with all the statistics of a pegasus, save that it cannot make attacks.

Ebony Fly in Companion Figurine Feat:
Ebony Fly (C): You must have the Vermin Heart feat (seepage 219 of the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting) to select this creature as an animal companion. It is treated as a horse animal companion, and at 8th level it gains a fly speed of 120 feet (average maneuverability).

In my opinion, because of Companion Figurine Feat, it will become a horse animal companion, so it should be large size and make attack as a horse. There have no word like "It is treated as a horse animal companion, save that it cannot make attacks". But I still can't make sure whether I'm right or not.

The new Alternate Racial Traits of Wayang

Shadow Speaker:
Shadow Speaker (Su): Countless whispers of powerful beings from the Shadow Plane—long since dead or deeply dreaming—echo in the minds of wayangs with strong spiritual connections to the darkness. These faint voices hint at revelations of things to come and suggest actions for receptive listeners to undertake. Three times per day as a free action, but no more than once per turn, a wayang with this racial trait can heed these uncanny whispers to gain a +2 insight bonus on an ability check, attack roll, caster level check, concentration check, saving throw, or skill check. The wayang must choose to use this ability before making the appropriate die roll. This racial trait replaces shadow magic.

It need a free action, so you can't use it off your turn. Is that mean you can't use it on most of saving throws?

A simple question:

Can Lapis Camel Figurine of Wondrous Power(Legacy of Fire Player's Guide) legal for Companion Figurine feat(Classic Treasures Revisited)?

Both of them are legal for PFS.

Clawhand Shield:
ACG page 211 wrote:

This shield is made of bone and ivory, but has been imbued with magic to function as a +2 mithral heavy steel shield (though it is not considered to be made of metal). The shield has stylized animal claws encircling its outer rim. If the wearer is grappled, pinned, or swallowed whole, as a standard action he can cause the claws to animate and make a single melee attack dealing 1d8 points of damage + the wielder's Strength modifier (1d6 + his Strength modifier for a Small wielder) without requiring a successful combat maneuver check to do so. This is considered a weapon attack with a one-handed weapon the wielder is proficient with, not a shield bash.

Additionally, the claws can animate to perform the somatic components of a spell as long as the arm holding the shield would be able to provide these components if it weren't carrying a shield. As a result, the shield has no arcane spell failure chance

Can I upgrade a mithral heavy shield to Clawhand Shield? Or a wooden(bone?)heavy shield because it is not considered to be made of metal, as mithral is just one of its magic functions.

Hooked Boss:
The struts on this reinforcing boss bear large, sturdy hooks, which can be used to snag an opponent’s clothing or armor, causing it to stumble. You can attempt trip combat maneuver checks with this shield. If the combat maneuver check is successful, the opponent does not fall prone, but is considered flat-footed until the beginning of its next turn.

I would ask:

If my attack fails by 10 or more, I will be knocked prone instead or flat-footed?

In 3.5 tie someone up you need 1min to do that, and also need 1min to escape.

In PF escape you need 1min,too(RAW), but I can't find how many time you need to tie. My friend claim you just need a standard action while grapple.

Is it real? You just need 3sec and one hand to tie one up? And he need 1min to escape?

Sovereign Court

I have already saw this "posted". I know the staff response no reply required, but I live in a country which is not speak in English. So we can't find the right way to understand RAW.

We really really want to know:
1.Do you need increase time when cast a swift spell?
2.If Q1 is yes, which action should I use?

If someone can help me to explain how to understand the sentence in page 113 of CRB, will be very helpful for translate to my group.

Thank anyone spend time to watch this.

Can I jump and attack a foe in the mid-air use shield slam? The ground is always a surface can not move in. With Spring Attack?

Can a normal weapen hit incorporeal undead creatures with Holy Strike Blessing? It will deal half weapon damage plus 1d6 or just 1d6 if it can hurt them?
