What happens if A partys ship gets destroyed or the party wants a different ship type and are in the market to get a new ship? What if one of the players wants to have a fighter or small shuttle to do some side work without the main group?
I was going through the cards of the set and there was only one pack in the set that the cards were misaligned when printed. It is mostly the back of the cards that are effected, some of the text is effected I am not sure how much it impacts the playability of those cards. But I just wanted to let you know.
I have a alchemist that has a monkey as a pet (Using the familiar stats for him ATM). Now I currently have no interest in placing the little guy into harms way, but i know sooner than later its going to happen. Is there a feat or something out there that would allow me to boost him at all as I level? Next question is how extracts work. The book says that an Alchemist can choose which extracts by brewing a "potion". that being said what would happen if during the day he wants to switch out the "potion" with another, or loses or breaks his prepared "potions"? Would he be able to brew up a different "potion" or would he need to brew up what he lost? If an Alchemist were to create a con mutagen and later decides he wants a strength mutagen, provided the Alchemist does not dump the original mutagen out, would an non-alchemist drinking the con mutagen still get sickened by the brew?
At my last gaming session we had a few rules debates that took several 10's of minutes each to reach an agreement.
First argument was on the knock spell. If a doorway has magical traps cast upon it do they go off when the knock is cast on the door? I had said that if the spells were cast on the door itself then the spells would go off, and if the spells were cast onto the lock then they would not. Second argument was on the true seeing spell. We came upon a room dominated by a golden statue of dragon. This statue had one curious feature, the eyes were real and moved around like a normal dragons. Asking the statue a question and how to respond in eye movements showed us an intelligence within. caster casts true seeing, this is where the debate started. The DM had transmuted a red dragon to a golden statue for the sole purpose of us to dispel the magic that transmuted the creature for a fight. The DM's question is would true seeing show the statue as a dragon, and if it did would it show it as a red dragon?
Why does elven chain armor in the pathfinder core book state the cost at 5150gp, especialy when the cost of a suit of chain mail costs 150 and the mithral cost for medium armor is 4000 coming up to a grand total of 4150gp. Mithral chain shirts come out right at 1100gp. I could understand the additional 1k gp to be for some additional feature like an actual +1 bonus, 0 armor check penalty for stealth, enchantment discounts, etc.
I got a player that is playing a Monk/Fighter 2/4. At his level he gets the armor training ability. Currently I am having a hard time on weather or not to allow him the armor training ability without using armor. I am thinking on saying that he would not be able to use this ability without using armor, since I think the intent on the bonus is the fighter adjusting his body so that the hit strikes a better armored location. But a little voice in the back of my head is saying to allow it strictly for the argument of the martial training of the monk to entangle/trap/deflect blows with his loose fitting clothing.
I have an interesting problem. The players befriended Angvar and Thuvalia after they successfully escaped after the job was botched. Only to be later caught again trying to flee from Riddleport. After they caught them they sat them down and questioned them a bit then offered them a job to work for the golden goblin. They agreed for 2 main reasons one because they were going to be paid, second reason they wanted to get on there good side cause the kicked their butts not once but twice. Since they agreed they had to ask Saul for permission to hire them, and they started the conversation with "you know those people that tried to steal the prize money... I want to hire them." Saul told the party no and wanted them nowhere near the Goblin. With Saul saying no they plan on paying for a room at another inn and try sneaking them into employment at a later time. My question Is do you think Saul would take measures to remove the so called bandits, or do you think he would not stir the pot more than he already has planed in the adventure? |
