About Kitika of Sorenson's Pride

Kitika's appearence and History:
Kitika's tiny scales have a metallic silvery color with a rainbow sheen. The hair is white, straight, and long. She has a long serpentine body with an elf shaped torso and head. She appears female though reaplings don't really have genders as new reaplings are made not born. She wears leather armor, tunic, vest, and a grey cloak with matching gloves. She carries a double bladed, slightly curved sword and a scroll case.

Her birth weapon (the magic weapon sacrificed to give her life) was a +2 holy dagger, which gives her significant prestige among reaplings (though some feel it was wasted on a scout rather then a future queen).

She was one of the few to follow Shaira into the maze that held the Sacred Stone and survive, so she got pick of assignment upon arriving here so she selected to go make contact and learn about the locals. She found the locals to be quite hostile.

Sorenson's Pride Reapling Colony:
This colony is the oldest colony and is the colony that landed in Golarion just a couple years ago. They kept to themselves until they had their new found home built up and secure, and now have sent scout's out to learn more about the world and it's inhabitants.

Shaira Sorenson's ascension and the creation of the Reaplings:
Shaira was a powerful Elf Artificer that was researching Artificial life and constructs. She was hired by King Ferguson to make such servents for his castle, however unknown to her at the time a traitorous general planned to take her research and use them as an army. She had completed her work enough to display a few workers to the King and later that night there was an assassination attempt on her life. The Overseer reapling she had been making to oversee and command the workers had noticed and saved her life. Shaira realized that she had created more then she anticipated and discovered the treachery, so she took her research and the last of her working reaplings and fled to the mountains where she continued her work making the reaplings as complete as she could. The general's men eventually found her and attacked her hideout. She surrendered and gave him three queen reaplings. However this was a ploy. The three queens took the resources given to them and made many reaplings, then they attacked the general and freed Shaira. The king however had died in a coup. The new king had heard of his generals death and this army and thinking them pure automatons attacked without warning. The reaplings acted to defend Shaira and a war was started.

Shaira decided to end the war by hunting down a divine artifact that could make her a god and thus force the king to stand down. With the kings men on her heels she found the Stone and ascended. To prevent the King's men from also using it she cast out the Stone to the astral sea, where it might even be the one that landed in Golarion. she then confronted army and upon their defeat she killed the king and the crown to the old king's loyal captain of the guard. Then the god Halgrum (angry at her for getting rid of the sacred stone) had expelled her and most of her reaplings out from the plane. Shaira and some reaplings had landed in Golarion, while other groups had landed in a few other planes.

Reaplings are artificial creations, experiments in arcane magics attempting to clone individuals. The ability to directly clone was not achieved but creating artificial life forms was somewhat successful. The reaplings have several different forms to perform specific tasks for the colony, some are intelligent and sentient, others are less so. Intelligent reaplings can think and decide for themselves and do not always stay with the colony, though it is quite rare for them to leave, and most that do keep ties with the colony.

Scouts are one of the intelligent types, intended to go out for long periods to find information and keep the colony abreast of outside events. Scouts are also usually the scholars and thinkers of a colony, second only to the queens in intelligence. Scouts have long serpentine bodies with an elf-like torso and two arms. Usually 6' to 10' long and about 80 lbs.

Only reapling queens can make new reaplings, but any intelligent reapling can metamorph into the queen if needed.

All Reaplings are made from a single sacrificed magic item, the type, strength, and power of this item affects the personality and ability of the reapling created, thus their "birth item" is a semi-important status symbol.

The resistance to healing really is a drawback, yet it does fit the concept which is much deeper then above, though I can ignore that resistance if you think it'll be too difficult to get around.

Reaplings are a race I created on the fly for a random encounter and exploded into a full campaign, so their history and fluff is rather fleshed out, however since all that is on paper it would take forever to post it all, besides I want to leave a little bit for you discover when you encounter them in my game. :)
Reaplings aren't evil but their moral ground doesn't include a lot of mercy, though honor and integrity are very important.
I figure the background is that my character enjoys going out gather info on the other races, often accompanying people when able to better learn about them.
