As a CK2 player, I have to register the nitpick that Primogeniture doesn't mean what the author thinks it does. Primogeniture is actually *maintained* if Eutropia inherits, as the oldest (and in this case only) child of the current ruler is succeeding him. What the Senate is voting on is to replace *Agnatic* primogeniture (only male children count' for succession) with Cognatic primogeniture, that women inherit on an equal basis.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who was a bit annoyed by that. All in all, however, I'm hoping that the future books in this AP will permit me to have my world see a transition from Agnatic Primogeniture to Cognatic Gavelkind because who doesn't love the balkanization of empires?

At my sister's funeral lately, there were many people who were always mocking her that were doing the fake-loving-her thing people do.

One of the worst decided to talk to my 7 year old daughter. My daughter smiled as politely as anyone could imagine. When the older woman said "but at least she's in heaven now," my daughter, without breaking a beat or losing her innocent smile, said:

"Well, she could be in hell. We have no way of knowing."

I'll throw another voice into the "oh god please even some product damage in transit is better than those hellish packing peanuts" camp. They were bad enough when I was young and could bend over enough to pick them up, and now I keep finding them stuck to socks for days or weeks after. There has got to be a better solution.
