A cloaked, shifty figure approaches. His dark hooded cloak is drawn tight, and almost blends with his dark ashen short-coat of fur. Under the hood you note sharp features and long whiskers.

Gleaming yellow eyes are ever watchful, darting back and forth between individuals and objects to assess. He tends to stand very still.

Kiresh rarely speaks before others, and prefers to only speak up on factual matters when he is certain. One of the few things that makes him visibly excited is the prospect of discovering lost occult knowledge, a rare book, a rift in reality that thins the barriers to other planes. He tends to not realize when he approaches too close to others during conversation.

Tucked into the Mythspinner Market of the prosperous city of Sihadrimon, in the Western Ghats region of Vudra, is an unassuming bookstore. In fact it doesn't even have a proper sign or shingle indicating a name. It certainly doesn't attract as many eyes as the varied other wonders available in the Market.

Those curious enough to poke their heads in find a Kiresh huddled over a desk, and surrounded by shelves and shelves, and piles and piles of books. An assortment of trinkets can also be found amongst the shelves. In fact it's more his personal repository than a shop as he doesn't actually like to part with many of them. He does sell a few. He acquires many more than he sells, not all of them legitimately.

His mentor, Murgesh, who works at the Sihadrimon library tends to admonish Kiresh for his adventurous heists to acquire particularly rare books.

All this time pouring over books has also given him access to the very esoteric languages that he's learned. Imagine what Pathfinder Society missions will give him access to...

Ranatagi did not come from so many books. That he proudly inherited from his ancestors and ratfolk community. Where other practitioners seek rifts in reality seeking passage to other planes, Kiresh seeks them to draw out their energies for his psychic practices.

Ranatagi

Ranatagi is an ancient psychic discipline practiced by ratfolk psychics of Vudra and eastern Casmaron. Its users can detect and manipulate rifts in reality, and ancient practitioners in its legends claimed the art could be used to guide caravans off planets and across space.

Ratfolk mythology claims they were appointed by the gods to sniff out the ragged edges of creation. Whether the art of ranatagi descended from this glorious role or formed the source of such myths, this psychic tradition among the ratfolk of Vudra and eastern Casmaron unlocks the psychic potential in trainees, teaching them to sniff out folds and tears in reality. Ancient practitioners of ranatagi even claimed that the art once allowed ratfolk to guide great caravans to the stars.

Paledim's submission is an Oscillating Wave Psychic. He's a rogue'ish Occult Librarian who seems to be a font of eclectic knowledge. He's an effective ranged blaster with some battlefield control. His broad and deep magical knowledge are honed for identification. Finally he comes with a side of rogue skills.

Kiresh is not the mage you asked for in the party. He's just the one fate delivered.
