Anyone knows if this AP would requires extra books?(like the Wrath of the Righteous or Iron God's AP)

So, I'd like to give my players some bonus XP after each session based on how well I think they played their alignment, as an incentive to better their roleplay, but I also do not want to unbalance the modules by giving too much and making them higher levels than they should be. Based on your experience, what XP per session could I allow for such a thing and not unbalance the adventure?

Thanks

As I wrote some weeks ago, I am getting back into RPG after many years and dm'ing my first pathfinder game using the Kingmaker adventure path.

My players are creating their characters using the 20 points built system, and I think one of them is making a big mistake, but not having experience with Pathfinder, I wanted to double-check with players knowing the system.

I told the players to create their char before we start the game and send them to me for approval. That player created a dwarf fighter that will specialize in 2H fighting. But he gave it 18 Str and 17 dex, thus, IMO, crippling his char for the future because his CON is not that good at 12(couting the dwarf +2 bonus) and his other stats are also all around 10 since he had almost no point left after boosting str and Dex so much, and he even had to lower his charisma down to 7. I honestly don't see him having fun at later levels and probably struggling to stay alive in battles before long.

Am I wrong to think that? I got half a mind to force him to redo his stats, but I want to make sure I am right in thinking he gimped himself for the future first.

All the other players are alot more balanced, with one stat at 16 and most of the others in the 13-15 area.

After years away from the hobby(I stopped playing AD&D when it was the 2nd edition) I am finally getting back into some tabletop RPG, found Pathfinder to my liking and got a group together. Based on various thread here I decided to start with Kingmaker, but I simply can't find book 1 at a reasonable price. FLGS can't order it, it's OOP on Paizo website and let's not talk about amazon or ebay where it reach 200$... Why are all the other books in the series readily available, but not the first volume?(I have ordered all through my FLGS without any problem) Yes I can get the pdf, (and will be probably forced to do so) but I hate PDF(even though I work in IT and work daily with them). I'm old school, I like to have the adventure open in front of me, easilly flipping the pages, reading and preparing the adventure in the comfort of our la-z-boy :P (plus, I hate the laptop "widescreen" display now, you can barely fit 30 lines of text on those screen.)

Is it available on some online store at a more regular price or should I simply bit it and run book 1 using the PDF? (already cringing thinking about it)

Thanks!
