Khorast's page

Thanks for the game! Sorry I vanished last week but things moved very quickly in my life.

Khorast wipes off his hammer, but does not return it to his belt loop. He mostly keeps out of the way of the more expert investigators, rather keeping an eye on doors, windows, and corners of ceilings for threats.

Khorast reasons that the creatures will run out of toothpicks before long and be forced to descend into honest combat. He feels unthreatened and maintains his offensive stance against them.

Still readying attack if they come to melee range.

Khorast looks up and roars. "Dropping pins on us does nothing! Come down and fight or fly back to whatever Hell you came from!"

He stands ready to hammer down any enemy that comes within reach.

Ready action to attack. I have smite evil and a shortbow in the back pocket but at the moment it feels like overkill.

Khorast, steel-plated head to toe, trundles in with his warhammer held high.

Khorast glances briefly back at the fleeing explorers. Then, warhammer at the ready, lets the more proficient trapspringers advance into the room first. He follows at their heels, ready to face any danger that's not about pressure plates or tripwires.

"Monkey statues are not something that were covered by my training."

Khorast stares at the suddenly appearing woman.

Khorast tries to give a hand but mostly stay out of the way.

Survival aid: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Khorast begins to clamber down the ladder, dropping down at 10 feet.

Climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Khorast looks up at the machan, sighs, and then begins to remove his armour. He then clambers up onto the southeastern machan.

Removing armour to be able to take 10, so AC only 12 until he gets it back on.

Khorast, after cleaning the snakes off his hammer, goes to dig the grave with Ferrus. "We should make a cairn. Something for his memory, and to keep the beasts out."

The half-orc paladin methodically tries to remove the last of the little snakes from the equation so he could join his companions in fighting the real threat. The hammer goes down.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Khorast moves on to hammer down the next snake.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

If snake = dead, Khorast takes a 5-foot step to threaten the yellow cobra.

Khorast, though beginning to suspect that Torag isn't actually all with him against an opponent so puny, refuses to back down and presses his attack.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

If the enemy is defeated, he then advances to threaten the next snake in line.

The half-orc attempts again to squash the little cobra.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

"Bag? That monster needs a circus tent!" Khorast shouts as he steps toward the closest snake, whipping out his warhammer, and tries to smash the animal.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

5-foot step, draw weapon, attack red snek.

Khorast moves to the fore, standing tall and broad-shouldered, trying to look as large as possible.

He really is pretty large.

Charisma Aid: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Khorast, having spent most of the boat trip severely seasick, has been looking a lot heartier once they were back on land.

"We are here for the tiger. I am not much of a hunter, nor do I find pleasure in the chase of anything but evildoers. I shall guard the camp, if the rest of you wish to hunt other game."

Khorast likewise acquires a healing wand before departing. On the ship, he tries to keep out of the way of the sailors and as close to the centre of the vessel as possible, reasoning that the swaying of the waves should be felt there less than by the railings.

Also present in the waiting room is a muscular, broad-shouldered half-orc. He is bedecked in utilitarian, nondescript but neat work clothes and has a warhammer hanging from a leather loop at his belt. An amulet hanging from his neck displays the mountain and hammer of Torag's faith.

He speaks in a rumbling voice from deep in his chest.
"Good morning. My name is Khorast. Indeed, I have been summoned for the same mission. I do wonder what the good captain has in store for us. I have never even been to Garund."
