I lost my job which has led me to scramble to get things in motion to keep my bills paid. I will be getting a post up tonight to keep things moving. Once again I apologize. Life throws a curve ball every now and again.

He deftly steps around said excrement while doing so. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 Not going to get much with that roll.

I thought my "nerf" to this encounter might make it go more smoothly, but it seems I vastly underestimated how annoying pugwampis can be. We might be here forever at this rate. If everyone else is in agreement, I would be all right with fastforwarding through this encounter to the tune of Yakety Sax. The leader is the only real threat, anyway. I am in agreeance with this.

"Well look what we have here, a puggie!" Khasra says with the first hint of humor since the others met him. With a small smirk on his face he stabs at the little creature. Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

HP 12/12 AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 15 | F +3 | R +5 | W +2 | Init +3 | Per +8 Hey everyone. My mom-in-law is doing well and the rehab center. Getting back to a regular schedule takes time after such an intense situation such as this, so I have been attempting to get myself back in jerk mode...I mean the proper mindset to play again. I will catch up on the gameplay thread I will get a post up. Glad to be back! -Posted with Wayfinder

HP 12/12 AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 15 | F +3 | R +5 | W +2 | Init +3 | Per +8 Status update: she successfully had angioplasty and a stint put in. They checked for a stroke and found no signs of such. She sleeps for the most part, though she is not recognizing anyone and is not very coherent. The surgery being a success was most welcome, though there is still more yet to come. We still have to see if her body rejects or accepts said stint, which will come with time. That's about it for now.

You're fine! I am enjoying myself as well. If I feel anything goes over the top I will mention it. I will say that this is the first time I have played a character who is quite the jerk. How am I doing?

Khatijah asks, her voice as flat as ever as she turns her attention to Garavel. "If I have something to say to you, I will. You heard it from Dashki did you not? I just said that someone somewhere always believes it was pugwampis, and since we were talking about him that means I was referring to him." Khasra says in a slightly irritated tone of voice.

As they go to speak with Dashki is when Khasra comments again. "They don't like the gnoll hunter. We shall soon find out if they are justified." he says with a small bit of curiosity in his voice. As they arrive he finds Marossa engaged in conversation with the man. Khasra moves next to the woman and waits while giving a small nod to the hunter.

HP 12/12 AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 15 | F +3 | R +5 | W +2 | Init +3 | Per +8 Apologies for not having posted recently. I have not been feeling well. Having a very harsh headache, feels just about like a migraine, but I am not sure. I can't get myself in the mindset to play my characters when I am like that. It's a push just to be able to be at work. I'll get something in the morning when I settle in at work. I plan on quality sleep tonight so I'll be back in my groove soon. :-)

Her command decisions could spell dire consequences for us all. She warrants further observation." Khasra steps forward and begins to speak in an even voice. "Very well. I want the names of everyone who was present before the rest of us arrived. Who was around that wagon at the time of the fire? Does any member of the caravan use magic?" He takes a breath and continues. "Have there been any sightings of bandits or other roaming groups? Any strange weather patterns? Anything out of the ordinary is what I want. Little details, even those that you may have passed over thinking they were unimportant." He finishes and looks at the others to see if they have anything to say. His eyes and face are impassive.

Other than a survival roll, I don't know what other skill to use to make sure the fire is put out and stays that way. Survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

The desert is harsh, and so am I. There is no place in my life for flamboyant frailties." Khasra says evenly. This time he shows no expression on his face, irritated or otherwise. He leaves the implication of what his words mean hanging in the air. No, not a threat. He merely is implying that he is not going to apologize.

He prefers to hear what the desert has to say, which is why he is quiet. His efforts were doing well enough when people started talking nonstop. So far they were unmolested during their trip.
