Knowledge/Skill character here from a dead game. Needs some retrofitting into Kingmaker, and a level up... but totally interested.
Also, greetings everyone!

I like the gillman too, and I'm leaning towards the gnome occultist for the forth. She has a cure spell!
Waiting to see if more show up before commenting...
Kevos pauses a second, caught off guard by the sudden shift in the man's tone. "Err, oh, it was a Daniel Peterson fellow, from the Chthonian Chroniclers. Here, I was s'posed to show you this. Don't shoot, it's not a weapon." Cautiously, Kevos retrieves his wayfinder to show Kaiman.
Yeah, let's do number one. We should at least get someone with some divine casting
Anyone know how I can get this to show up in my campaigns tab again? Also, are we short a goblin now too? Do you want to try and recruit someone new? I could make a second character, though I could see why you may not want that.
Kevos raises his hands cautiously and speaks, "Oh my stars, no offense meant! We were sent to check on a man by the name of Warder Kaiman. There was no response at the door, and I noticed the smell of... fumes... and thought it would be prudent to investigate."
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (19) + 8 + (2) = 29
"Eh heh heh heh... oooh... smells amazing!"
Kevos looks around sneakily to make sure he isn't being observed by the locals, and nonchalantly activates his bracers. The transform into a set of masterwork thieve's tools and he examines the lock.
Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (18) + 12 + 2 + (1) = 33

"Not so good when yer supposed to be a pillar of the community. HA! Well, maybe he can learn something from our young goblin here! Never thought I'd say that. Well, we'll be off. Thanks for your help, maybe we can return the favor sometime."
K(Religion): 1d20 + 10 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 10 + (3) = 23
Kevos chuckles, and says, "Hah! Well, young Tsukitaro, I think it's more an issue of Erastil expecting one to be a respectable and responsible member of the community. You wouldn't want a nanny you hired spending more time partying in the basement than watching the kids."
He thinks to himself, Also, old Deadeye is a bit of a stick in the mud.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 + 1d6 ⇒ (17) + 11 + (5) = 33
"Hmm, you sound as if you don't necessarily care for the man."
Cheers to that! Drink something delicious. Or a lot of something delicious. Failing that, a lot of something cheap.
"This young goblin here wishes to dedicate himself to Erastil, my dear man! Could you point the way?"
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 8 + (4) = 22
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (4) = 11
Kevos eyes up the festivities, and mutters, "Ugh, to much happiness. Must be something unnatural. Probably some horrible cult's holiday." He then clears his throat and says to Ryder, "We need to get to Archerhome. I'm sure it's on the map. Maybe we should ask questions there, not sure I trust this many smiling people."
Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 12 + (4) = 26
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 10 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 10 + (5) = 18
To locate the temple, and see if I have any idea what the festivities are about
"Ah, here he is, donkey and all!" Kevos reaches for his flask and realizes he left it behind. "Aww, I'll be cursed. Spirits take you!"
"I think I saw him with a donkey... Err..." Kevos shrugs.
"Age before beauty kiddos," says Kevos sarcastically, and after looking at his companions, he adds, "Well, I got both on all o' you but the elfling, so I'm first anyway harharhar."
Let's say Kevos did grab a book or too... and he would have shared that info with anyone willing to accompany him to the library and listen to his ramblings. Also, I know Ferratal is technically older than Kevos, but in elf years he's still a kid (and probably still looks like one anyway), so Kevos is still going to treat him that way.
Knowledge History: 1d20 + 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (13) + (3) + 10 = 26
Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (8) + (5) + 12 = 25

"I've been hasslin you guys for field work for years. 'Course I'm goin."

"Sooooooooooo.... what horrors await us? Where are we going? What are doing there? Are we likely to survive, and if so how much are we getting paid?"
"Hey now, this is a fancy one!"
Kevos shrugs and starts examining the wayfinder. Oooh, now I'm official...
"Oh yeah! It will be great! Nothing like mind-flensing horrors for breakfast... He pulls a flask from his belt, takes a pull, then offers it out. "Cheap vodka, anyone?"
"Don't mind the ugly kid, Tsukitaro. He's on our side, so I've been told." Kevos' eyes get a slighlty crazed gleam for a second. Then he laughs weirdly.
Kevos raises an eyebrow at the atypically fancy talking goblin. Good grief, now they're talkin like the idyl rich? O' course, most noble folk I've met are scarcely better than the ones that burn and pillage, so I suppose it was only a matter of time before the universe balanced it out. He bends his tall and lanky frame over and extends his hand to the goblin saying, "Mr. Kevos Iola. Welcome to the C team."
I guess we just have to wait for the gameplay thread then? I'll start reading that book while I wait.
I'll just have a look at that. Probably just annihilate the rest of you kids' sanity.
Sooo... you guys gonna buy anything or what? 'Cause I'm closing up shop soon. Hey, gobbo, put that down! That's a genuine knucklebone of Saint Septicimiex! DC 5 Appraise to recognize it's made out of plaster Elf kid, you break it you buy it! You in the back, I see you have good taste. What you have there is a magic holy water pistol! Very rare, very valuable! 100 gold and it's yours, by the millennium shrimp! Hate to get rid of it at such a low price, but I need to clear out some inventory.
Just make sure ya have Communal Bull's Strength prepared as soon as it's available. :D
Heh, looking through our new members, highest strength score is 11... Hope we don't have to lift anything.
Kevos is a bit of a mash-up of Alan Moore, Foul Ole Ron, and every hobby/comic book store owner ever.
I'm pretty excited to RP Kevos. We can use the basement of my store as a base of operations, JUST DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! Hey!!! Who let the goblin in???? PUT THAT DOWN!
woot! heading to work, so I will check in later.
Nope, still young and spry AH! MY BACK!!
35 is a bit young for that, don't you think?
Heck, I'm almost 40 IRL and I'm neither weaker NOR smarter.
Also, 90's music is NOT, nor will it ever be, Classic Rock!
*wanders off, muttering about kids these days...*
Okay, I hate to ask this because I feel like it sounds like a munchkiny/tweaky thing, but since my primary weapon is going to be a sword can: if I get a scabbard of vigor, can that be the cane part of the sword cane?
Fixed the feat issue. Also redid them completely, since we already have a few (and much more deadly) ranged types. Kevos is now a super skill monkey, getting free inspiration rolls on half his skill checks...
Still have to finish shopping, and make some adjustments to gear and combat stats.
Noticed one mistake, I have one feat too many! I will have to think a minute about which one to remove.
Looks like we need a close-range combatant... Catfolk paladin you say?
Reformatting complete, I think. Let me know if there are any glaring errors. Just shopping left.
Also, never really appreciated how much I used PFSRD for traits and equipment until I had to watch my source material so closely. APG doesn't have much for traits to choose from. I might change my official book, since Ultimate Equipment has half the gear I want. Is this choice a thing we are bound to throughout the Chronicles?
HP: 4d8 ⇒ (8, 4, 4, 5) = 21
Slightly above average. I can deal.
DM Runge said: wrote: The technology guide is acceptable, but you should probably know that I would be unlikely to pick a character wielding a chainsaw for this game. It doesn't fit the themes well :) I don't know, that Barbarian archetype... You could dual wield a chainsaw and shotgun and go all Evil Dead 2 on those monsters...
