Keriann returns to an upright position, rises another five feet in the air, level with the pillars, and chases down the bunny that fled, once again slashing along the neck. The bunny remaining after Toxicroak's attack gets an AoO against Keriann. Her first 5 feet of movement, she rises, her last 5 feet of movement before attacking the scared bunny, she lowers 5 feet. Claw: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30Damage: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11Acid: 1d6 ⇒ 2 Hm, this might be a good time to mention something I've been wondering about: When Keriann makes a single attack, or an AoO, would that attack be at 1.5 STR, as the rules for single natural attacks?
Keriann. Not Kerian or Kerrigan, the evil zerg lady. On another note, I honestly can't tell how many squares the bunnies occupy. If they are all within the same square, putting them all in reach of Keriann after her five-foot step, she will attack all of them. Otherwise, assign attacks to whichever bunnies she can reach. Also, some sort of confirmation that these bunnies have the same CMD/AC as the previous, or what their CMD/AC is if not, would have been nice. Keriann levitates up to the bunnies, and eviscerates away, drawing them up before her face before attempting to rip them apart. So, Keriann's attack routine. She is using the grab attack option that means she does not get the grappled condition, so she can grab as many bunnies as she has attacks with the grab ability. She'll attack to kill in numeric order, all attacks to damage go to #1 if it can survive it. I skipped trip attacks this time, for simplicity. @Bunny #1 Aberrant Tentacle: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8Acid: 1d6 ⇒ 3
If you have any suggestion or opinions on how I should format Keriann's attack routine, please do tell me.
Keriann Caitlan shakes her head at this silliness, casts her hypnotic trance on her newfound allies, and heads for the door. Keriann Caitlan casts Good Hope on Toxicroak, B.L.O.B, B.L.O.B's companion and Svitz; As Lacuna 6 is immune to mind-affecting spells, it does not affect him. She also casts Greater Magic Fang on Toxicroak, B.L.O.B, B.L.O.B's companion and Svitz. She will cast Good Hope again every 2 minutes unless she is in combat. She will cast Greater Magic Fang again every few hours when not in combat.
Blinking with sore eyes, Keriann clumsily exits the pod, wincing as she attempts to support herself on her crippled legs, opting instead to levitate a little way over the ground. She eyes the owl and her surroundings suspiciously, far from convinced that any of this is real, or that the "doctor" is telling the truth. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
She turns around and levitates upside down as she takes out the contents of her cache, sighing with relief as she dons her boots, which turn her legs into tentacles – slightly shorter and thicker than the other four, but otherwise indistinguishable from the rest. Once she has donned her armor and equipment, she focuses her innate magic, shivering slightly as she feels the effect of her self-hypnotic trance. Keriann casts Good Hope and Greater Magic Fang on herself.
Feels like someone always pick Synthesist Summoner. Always fun to try something new. But, to respond to the many attacks thing - Keriann is going to be grappling and tripping a lot, especially once she gets 10-15 ft reach. Since she has the grab ability, she'll be able to grab multiple enemies as AoO's, which she will then trip, for a total of -6 AC, possibly setting up a flank. She is intended to become quite a Zone Controller, in short. Or, that is the idea, anyway. We will see how it works out. And, as you said, that all depends on whether she is picked or not.
Exactly. The Aberrant is the closest to the Synthesists, though - Normal Aegis abilities are more humanoid in nature, and function like the armor version of the soulknife. There is an Aegis variant, the Ectopic Artisian, that is basically the Eidolon of the typical summoner, but it is a construct, with a weapon instead of natural attacks.
Here is APersonAmI's submission, which is still slightly unfinished, for which I apologize; I still need to add Skills, another Trait, some more gear and a background and personality breakdown. Also, what Karnicore said: If anything is wrong, wonky, or could be better, be it mechanics or formatting, I would love to know. That is an excellent image, Karnicore. |
