I usually ‘save’ 7-11s for 10-11, I have higher level PCs I could bring, but is Rallas still 7?

busy tonight, take 10 and id everything, feel free to open spoilers. Are the non central mirrors important or special, or did they all shatter? I find it hilarious that the wizard wanted to trample them and the cavalier was a good pathfinder lol.

Actually, I couldn’t have done that, my swift action was used by the immediate action emergency force sphere, so not only is he fine, there is no goop in his square.

No reason to retcon it since things look a lot less dire now.

Kenath heads the counsel of Rallas. I should have posted an alternative summons. Would it be possible for Kenath to have made an alternate summon at that time? I only ask because things look a little dire, and Kenath himself would have used emergency force sphere rather than take another full attack, so he won't be helping this round.

When the blades come for him again, this time he instantly raises a hemi-shaped dome that the blade harmlessly clatters against.

Kenath delays on his turn, waiting to see if his allies can turn the tide. Not that it matters much, from inside his bubble he won't be able to do much immediately. Can't summon through the wall of force, since it blocks line of effect. I'd need to shift out or dismiss it.

Rules question, if I understand correctly, if I use the shift ability of the conjuration school which acts as dimension door, my turn is instantly over and I can't take additional actions, correct?

1 round is correct, so I think at the start of the air elementals next turn, the ants (that were flow overhead of Nugats, up to the ceiling), are going to fall down. I suggest you AoE that swarm and we'll deal with the next one when we can. The swarm with ants is as high up as it can go (assuming nothing looks too valuable, like a second floor of the library), with the ants for Nuggets to fireball. The other two elementals start where the other swarm was, although not with their 5' base sitting on books, waiting for next round to try the same action by reassuming whirlwind form for that round.

Kenath quickly scrambles for a solution. Theres always a summon for each situation, they drilled that into me! He quickly realizes that an air elemental, or a few of them, may be able to create a negative vortex vacuum, preserving the tome they were sent to save.

small air elementals: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Kenath calls upon his training, summoning 3 elementals. He calls to them in whispy Auran ,” get the ants off the books, use your winds. Bring them above the gnome!”.

They quickly each assume a whirlwind form and move rapidly over the swarms, staying on the books until the ants are affected, and then using their rapid speed to hastily fly them above Nuggets.

with 100' speed, they could all affect both swarms. so I think each swarm requires 2 DC 14 reflex saves per elemental (so a total of 12 reflex saves). If they fail the first, they take 1d4+3 damage, if they fail that and the second, they are now flying ants, on this mother Fing plane. The visual of this is *much* better than the mechanics...

The whirlwind is always 5 feet wide at its base, but its height and width at the top vary from creature to creature (minimum 10 feet high). A whirlwind’s width at its peak is always equal to half of its height. The creature controls the exact height, but it must be at least 10 feet high.

Creatures one or more size categories smaller than the whirlwind might take damage when caught in the whirlwind (generally damage equal to the monster’s slam attack for a creature of its size) and may be lifted into the air. So if the whirlwind is small, it would suck up tiny and smaller creatures, including our ants. The books are probably also tiny sized, so it wouldn't preclude them from being sucked up, but i would think that the smaller things would get sucked up first, and that the ants would be less dense than books, which are essentially the same density as wood (if you've ever moved media). If you're kosher with that interpretation, I'll grab a several small air elementals with summon monster IV and start with the hover action!

I suspect the lance is a Two-handed hafted weapon, so at +2 its 9 hardness and 30 hp. It'll take a 6th caster level mending for either Nuggats or I to fix it, should it become damaged, so both of us can fix it, but not until tomorrow. Since we're on a time crunch, if it gets broken, I suspect it'll be broken for the scenario, unless they give us scrolls. It does have a reasonable chance to not take damage, given its hardness, and broken is just -2 to attack, damage, and only crit on a nat 20, with 2x crit.
