Male Human Fighter 1

As stated above, Kellith will take a 5-foot step and go into Total Defense.

Not feeling nearly his best, Kellith decides to hang back and leave the fighting to others for the moment.

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith nods at the priestess and focuses all of his attention on not getting hit. (Will go into Total Defense when it is his turn, raising his AC to 20.)

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith nods to Sevegny as some of the pain and tension leaves his face, "Thank you, ma'am. Do you have any more where that came from? Not much good to folks in my condition. One good hit and I'm down."

Listen check, DC 20:

** spoiler omitted **

We're not leaving initiative time yet. Everyone please post your next round's actions. I would remind onlookers with cure spells handy that Kellith has only 1 hp left.

And Kellith greatly appreciates the heads-up.

Listen check (1d20+1=21)
Kellith grunts through the pain of his wounds, "Noise ahead, talking ... up and to the left," and nearly passes out.

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith backs out of the room, moving quickly to try to flank their opponents. He drops his throwing axe and draws the rapier in a smooth motion. He moves over to the more distant goblin and attacks. (Drop Weapon; Move action and draw weapon; reusing my previous rolls, because they were sweet. Rapier attack on G1: 1d20+4=24; Crit confirm 1d20+4=12; if it's enough here's the new rolls for damage: Rapier damage and crit damage (1d6+3=8, 1d6+3=8); if Goblin G1 drops I will Cleave to kobold K2 Cleave Rapier attack (1d20+4=24), Holy Crap! Crit confirm (1d20+4=22), Crit damage! (1d6+3=4, 1d6+3=8))

Male Human Fighter 1

I am sorry, Shisumo, I am having trouble with the map you're describing. Is there any way you could create the excel sheet and post it here so that we're all looking at the same thing?

Initiative (1d20+1=10)
Kellith will wait until a foe comes within 10' and then throw the axe. (Throwing Axe attack (1d20+2=22); Throwing Axe crit confirm (1d20+2=10); Probably not a crit; Throwing Axe damage (1d6+3=9)) He will then draw his rapier and take a 5' step to close with the target. Note that he is carrying his shield so his AC is 16.

Thank you, Shisumo.

Yes indeed. Thank you very much!

Untrained Survival check (1d20+1=20)

Kellith agrees with Sevegny, "Hold your breath and cover your mouth if they are released. You SHOULD be okay. Hmmm." The fighter takes a deep breath and follows the dwarf into the room.

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith decides that discretion might indeed be the better part of valor, and does not open the door before him. Instead, he focuses his attention on the door that his small companion is peeking through, throwing axe in hand.

Male Human Fighter 1

Ditto here. Luckily we're right at the beginning, so restarting is no big problem.

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith shrugs, "Hmm, mine is stuck on this side as well."

It had been moved to the "Archive" for the thread. It seems there are a limited amount of "Active" threads for any given group. I guess there hadn't been enough posts lately, so it got moved to the Archives. I bumped the thread, so you should all be seeing it again.

Male Human Fighter 1

Bump!

Yea, i can't get to it either :(

Whoa! What happened?

Male Human Fighter 1

Not knowing what else to do, and getting a little antsy, Kellith tries to open the nearest door to him (The first one on the NE corner of the "room" they are in). He tries to open it just enough to get a quick look inside.

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith doesn't like the doors. "Too many ways to surprise us," he thinks. Keeping his back towards a wall, he looks up and down the corridor.

Spot check (untrained Wisdom check) (1d20+1=8)

Male Human Fighter 1

In a 10' corridor (which we seem to be about to walk down), Kellith will let the dwarf lead (so he can "find" the traps), with the paladin directly behind the dwarf and Kellith to his right or left (whichever side the dwarf isn't on). Does that make sense?

Also, how long a journey on foot is it back to the village?

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith doesn't hear any sound coming from any of the three directions.
The warrior shrugs his shoulders, "Hrrm, north as good as any, I guess." He waits for the dwarf to move out, before stepping in line slightly behind and to his right.

Male Human Fighter 1

Before proceeding, Kellith takes a moment to listen to each of the three corridors. Living on the streets taught him that awareness of one's surroundings can often be the determining factor between a nice day and a shiv in the kidneys.

Untrained Listen check (Wis +1) (1d20+1=21)

Male Human Fighter 1

Kellith looks around at his companions, "Anyone not have their hands full that could carry a lantern or a torch?"

Rurik rolls up his kit and raises the crossbow hanging from his belt. "I'll lead."

Kellith nods to the dwarf, having heard that dungeons like this are often filled with traps and such. "I will be behind you with my axe," he says showing it to Rurik, "in case something jumps out and tries to," drawing his throwing axe in a gesture across this throat, "krrrch you." Others might say this as a joke, but not Kellith, he is deadly serious.

He throws a glance at the mage, "You hear anything else about what might be awaiting us down there?"

OOC: Kellith will taken second place.

Kellith, Human Warrior
Kellith unshoulders his pack, keeping a wary eye on the ruins. A tall human with dark hair, he had introduced himself briefly as a guard at the Lost Shepherd Inn. He certainly looked the part with his close-cropped brown hair, broad shoulders, studded leather armor and a wooden shield which had seen more than its fair share of use. Numerous weapons, including throwing axes, a rapier, and a polearm of some kind hang in sheathes or are strapped to his back, but it is the enormous greataxe he carries in his hands that first caught your attention.

The warrior kneels on the ground, unsheathing every weapon he owns and laying it out before him. He studies them for a minute before selecting a throwing axe and his heavy shield. He then gathers up his remaining arms, stands up and looks at the rest of the group for guidance.

Male Human Fighter 1

Okay, I've created the stats for Kellith, your basic two-handed weapon fighter with a few extra weapons to complement his tactics. Let me know what I need to add or change.

Best,
