"We were not given a time limit, but we still need to accomplish our mission before the king of this land finds and executes the mages. I am more than willing to spend a few days searching here, but even just the inner walled section would take at least that long and then we still have the outer walled section to deal with. Unless you just want us to knock on the doors, peek in to say yoo hoo and then leave."

"There are only two ways to help its kind. One, find someone powerful enough to return it to life. An option just not practical or possible for us at this point in time. And two, destroy what is left of it so that it's soul may continue on to whatever afterlife it deserves instead of being imprisoned in a rotted body."

"I too would vote for destruction of it's physical form. This thing has nothing to look forward other than an eternity locked into this decayed body with nothing but the few remaining skeletal members of her society for company and never daring to set foot outside her city. I think the poor thing is at the very least half mad now and think that leaving her here to descend further into madness would be a very grave mistake considering that she is clearly capable of the arcane arts and there is no telling what she may end up doing in the future."

In common: "Leaving them alone would be the easiest, but probably not the wisest decision. We have nothing to actually offer them and she is bound to figure that out eventually when we fail to bring her the supplies she wants. Even if we asked the mages for their assistance, they certainly don't have the means to deliver enough resources to rebuild this city. They are in hiding here and can't exactly go out and go shopping. Then will have a pissed off, insane zombie mad at us." "This discussion has been informational in regards to the history of this city and the fact that there is at least one more intelligent undead around here. I don't think we will get anything more useful out of this one. I think we are just going to have to charge in since there is no way to lure them out. We can't risk the mages wondering in here on their own or for the insane zombie to decide that she wants to purge all outsiders from the cave."

Yes, I would have been translating for the sake of everyone else. Kayla responds to the group. "If there was something that turned a whole city into undead, it could still be here. It may be worth talking to this other intelligent undead to find out the exact cause of the undead problem. If it is something that could still be triggered than the mages could be in danger if they come across it. Or, we can find it and show it the king and mages both as a powerful weapon made by magic."

Celestial: "A cure? Do you think that your condition can be reversed? Of course we'd also have to know what caused your condition. Usually knowing the cause of an affliction is often key to figuring out how to cure it."
"As for the scraps we and the others all thought this place was deserted and that we were merely looking over that which had been abandoned for many years and forgotten. We really didn't think anything sentient existed in this cavern city."

Celestial:
"The only residents? This city looks rather large and we have seen things like beds that undead would not need. What about the elves who we were told used to live here?" in common "Yep, definitely crazy. She's upset we killed her people. How to kill that which is already dead though? I wonder if she even knows what she is."

"Hmm, I think we could try to hit one of those little windows with a rock and hopefully break it. That might get the attention of whatever is inside and make sure it isn't near the door when we try to enter." Kayla looks at the side of the house and tried to pick out a good target on the 2nd floor of the house. "New way to break and enter a place." attack on a window: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

round 8 Kayla delays her action until everyone else has gone or the zombie is dead since she doesn't think she could do much damage to it. Assuming that Katrin is successful in killing it, Kayla will move up to her and cast a healing spell upon her. clw: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

"Hold up a moment Qalendar, let me see where the arrow hit you." Kayla looks over his wound and decides to cast a cure spell upon him.
"There, that looks better. Don't want anyone injured if we are about to fight more of those things." As the others speak of leaving or staying: "I can't tell if the sound are coming this way or not, but it could be something drawn by the sounds of our battle. Perhaps either more skeletons or some kind of overseer if they have one. Either way, it couldn't hurt to wait her for a few moments until we can tell if they are getting closer or not. If they are, we can wait here and ambush whatever it is. If not, then we can go and follow the sounds."

"Skeletons? Well, that is interesting. I wonder if that is what remains of the original population or if that is what happened to the original population." "At any rate, we should deal with the skeletons somehow. We don't want to risk them roaming into the mages camp. I have no idea how well they are versed in combative magics yet." "Can you show us the way there Nipper?" Stealth roll for the trip there: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

If the dm lets me make a late change to my morning spells, I can swap out stabilize for message. "Don't get too far ahead, we don't want you to get lost." While he does a quick search afar, Kayla looks at the door of the closest building to her and checks to see if is is locked or not.

"Well, there is definitely still some magic. Pretty powerful magic at that." At the sounds, Kayla looks around, trying to figure out the general direction they came from. "Well, that does sound like something is around here. We had best find it before it can find us." Perception to locate noise: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
