I have been digesting the advanced class guide for about 2 weeks now, overall i am very pleased and i will be looking forward to hopefully playing something from here in the future. There are many errors in this book but i found that the Ecclesitheuge might be missing something. In the Ecclesitheuge's vow it mentions Blessing of the faithful ability, but it is not defined anywhere, was it something that was taken out or just accidentally omitted??
besides what has been mentioned, and the obvious, i would recommend trying to keep a close eye on the wealth you will hand out to your players at this level, and also be careful what kind of gear you are allowing access to. Also don't let the group get too big, i would not dare to play a at this level with more then 4 or 5, maybe, and i mean a hard pressed maybe 6.
The best piece of advise i can give you is to go and talk with your players. The game is just as much theirs as it is yours. Get your party to make new characters, ones that were either family or friends to their now dead, and hopefully zombified bwhahahaha, counter parts. That way their new character have a motivation of revenge and/or justice plus it will allow them a great opportunity to role play out putting their old characters to rest. Which is a great hook as mentioned earlier! The biggest thing is to get them to sit back down and play again. ~kastle
Currently I have been playing a Dervish Bard, and as much as i am enjoying it, i am the social skill monkey in my group, and only healer. i want to play something less finesse and more Brute, so i am gonna go with Probably a True primitive Barbarian. Here is hoping that when i get the chance to play this, that someone else has the same faction as i do. =P
I just want a little clarification, I already sifted through the back log of info on the Overhand chop class ability of the Two-handed fighter. My question is: Does overhand chop only work with Melee weapons in the Two Handed weapon category? I believe it only applies to that category of weapons, and not to when ever you wield a weapon in two hands. Thanks for time sorry to bring up another question about this ability. ~Kastle |
