Hey everybody. I'll be at a sales meeting all this week, so posting might be spotty. Don't want to slow things down so fee free to DMPC me as needed.

Kass follows silently, his thoughts to himself, as the reality of cold, and sore feet returns him to what he is used to.

Kass spares a greed look at the pouch of gold. "Well the terms seem acceptable to me". "Perhaps you could sketch out a map of the surrounding territory, so we know what to expect". "I am ready to leave now".

With that statement the scarred Iosan leans over and picks up his leather traveling bag. It makes a slight tinking sound as he hefts it, and a small frown creases his brow.

"Good enough...Allright then". "I guess first things first, we go figure out where this Kutepov is...or was". "Where do we start"?...Oh. and most importantly how will we be recompensed?

The Nyss starts at the elf's voice. Looking about owlishly before settling his gaze on the Iosan, he says, "Yes, why not?"

Kass raises one eyebrow at his less evolved brethren's comment. "Because"

Not being intentionally disrespectful...just not really caring, Kass drinks when he wishes, not when the worthless words are uttered. He has heard these rousing speeches, and toasts before, and determined that they usually mean a lot of good people are getting ready to die.

Profile completed. Now just to finish up the background.

Kass relaxed a bit as familiar ceremony of 'recognize threat', 'gather resources', 'Plan response', and 'execute said plan', began to play out before him. He had been here before, in this same situation many times. The faces and names were different, but the results would be the same. And he would take part...he always did...he had a "Unique" set of skills.

With a quick toss of his hand, he swallowed the remainder of his ale, and waited for the specifics.

You'd think I'd learn the first time. I just typed all my characters info in again, and the post monster ate it AGAIN!!!!

I'm going to type it in word next time and copy paste. I don't have time for this BS :-(.

Kassilus notices the dwarf and meets his gaze without expression. His eyes then dart to the doorway, and his eyebrow rises just a bit.

Seeing everyone to cowardly to sit at the obviously prepared table, Kasslius approaches with a sneer, and sits down directly across from the troll spawn, and reaches to refill his glass.

Dang it. Had the profile done and the post monster ate most of it. I'll get to it later tonight.

Kassilus sauntered into the bar like he owned the place. Though he got many stares as he entered, after all Iosan's were not common sights here. He, with a glance took in the vodka pounding Troll spawn, the weary armored soldier, and... wait. Was that one his barbaric, savage kin over there. Seeing more and more of them outside the north. Maybe they were finally getting some civilization...about time.

He then stepped to the bar and in a low voice full of vibrato ordered a simple ale. He gently placed his large carpet bag on the ground beside him, and seated himself on the barstool facing backwards, towards the open room.

I guess I was procrastinating waiting for everyone else to pick their careers, before I picked my second one, but I think I'm just going to make Kassilus a bit of a nasty character. Profile up soon :-)

Well I am already playing a thief, but there is no reason we cannot have 2, but this does now leave us under powered in the arcane field.

Whoops. Sorry I missed that. I thought we were going to be arcane heavy, but I guess not. I'll give the arcane classes a quick look, since I haven't built the character yet.

I've been diligently reading the rules, and have come to the conclusion, that the MageHunter might be a little too radical for this type of campaign. I've got him put together if you think he is critical to the game, but I'm also putting together this character as both a Spy, and a Thief to go along with Alchemist, to see which one evokes the best background feel. Any input as to which might work out best??? If either is fine I might just go with the Thief, to give us a character with some shady connections and past. Let me know your thoughts...both players and Mark.
