"That sounds good to me, I'll take it and maybe it'll help us in dire situations." Kalla responds.

"We definitely need a safehouse of some type - let's see what we come across. I don't think this square is safe, we should move along. Aravashnial, I am Kalla, and we will do our best to keep you safe and drive out these demons from Kenabres - though our abilities are limited."

"Looks like various treasures, armor and the like." Kalla hands the staff back to the elf. "Here you are, we will get you to relative safety, but we must press on to take out what are apparently cultist cells throughout the city."

Distributing the treasure, she says "Everyone, take a potion. Zarak, grab this bigger potion." Kalla packs what she can, efficiently into her bag, and distributes the rest to the other party members so that as much may be carried as possible.

I regret elements of my spell loadout - should've done a few more buffs and less demon stuff. Oh well!

Kalla, hoping to help dispatch the cultist, takes a moment to try to boost the party's spirits with the guiding power of Pulura. She prayers briefly and then moves to touch the appropriate party member.

Cast guidance on Zarak if she goes before him in initiative (which I think is true) or Sabrina if Zarak already went.

Quickly, Kalla calls from the heavens sparkling blue light which descends onto the four women, coating them in silvery dust. "Light of Pulura, expose their wickedness."

Move action - Kalla moves one square north and west.

Notes that the elf is already blind, so will not be subject to the blindness effect.

Check out this one which has the braids and hair color of Kalla during the day. At night, she has the hair and eye color of whatever the aurora is (the stock image from the boards isn't too far off as it actually is an azata aasimar, as far as I can tell).

Kalla gazes at the smoldering ruins and is again struck, and she loses her composure and tears fall. She sniffs, and wipes the tears from her face, "it looks like I was wrong. Let's do what we can to help the survivors." She casts a quick prayer to Pulura and heads towards the distressed voice with the party, drawing her crossbow.

Actions:
Casts expeditious retreat, moves toward the noise as the party moves.

Oops, missed the line, but Kalla probably wouldn’t have known anyway - she doesn’t have much formal education like a lot of crusaders.

”Korramzadeh... and it seems that he vision shows him slaying... Terendelev? If the vision we had is true, the crusaders will need this cold iron - and us - more than ever. Do not despair, “fate” is just a four-letter word delivered by people who aren’t creative enough to make their own decisions. Pulura be praised, Kenabres will not go the way of Sarkosis”

Kalla merrily accepted the mission, and tried to keep the spirits of her companions high by singing what songs she knew that were popular in Kenabres, or snippits of Kellid folk songs.

The folk of the Worldwound are often stoic to the point of being dour, and she has tried to bring brightness into their lives whoever they are, be they her adventuring companions or children on the street. She has leveraged her now-strong connection to Pulura to do mercenary work beyond just healing people and singing, and has tried to keep her companions safe in their adventures.

She smiled warmly at Dragan, and thanked him for his efforts. "Dragan, you should be commended for getting the wagon here at all. These mountains are treacherous at the best of times. Thank you for what you've done. It will be put to good use."

She patches up the party after the choker battle, and even manages to nick one with her crossbow.

She is singing a folk song about a fox taking delight in tricking a dour bear when she is overcome by the vision.

Moments later, she composes herself by holding tightly to the side of the wagon. She shakes her head "Did we all have the same vision?" She looks around and notices the group discomfort. "Kenabres? Can you have fallen as well? I agree Sabrina, let us make haste. It may not have come to pass, but we can't have shared a vision without it being important."

Kalla attempts to identify, somehow, the demonic being in the vision.

So it looks like you weren’t able to get too far ahead due to the boards being down. Would you like us to contrxtualize our character’s presence with the others as if we were always there?

Also, I think I will swap out sacred conduit for exalted of the society (if you will allow me to have it). An additional channel every day is probably more useful than increasing the save to resist the effects.

After a bit of consideration (and reconsideration, I couldn't make half-elf work), I settled on Kalla Mirar, an musetouched aasimar of Pulura, with Kellid ancestry, that has dedicated her life to freeing the north of demonic influence.

Background and Mannerisms:

Kalla was born as a refugee in the town of Kenabres, her parents Kellid refugees from the fall of Sarkosis. Her family has always had hints of fey or elven ancestry, but until her 16th birthday, Kalla was an ordinary Kellid girl. She grew up in poverty as many Kellid citizens of Kenabres did, but managed to support her family with her singing and healing, though she was very careful to avoid being called a "witch". Her family taught her the tenets of Pulura, the Empyreal Lady of stars and the aurora venerated by many Kellid of Sarkosis before the fall of Dyinglight, which was her ancestral home. Kalla always whispered prayers to Pulura, but until she turned 16, they were not answered.

On her 16th birthday, she was walking home from her meager job late at night, when the aurora blazed through the sky above, the stars lit up brighter than she had ever seen, and the sky was filled with ribbons of color that she had never seen before. Her features sharpened and her eyes and hair changed to match the aurora, a feature that would persist through her life (her hair and eyes are the color of the aurora at any given time - except during the day when her hair is white and her irises are black). Her ears sharpened and she began to resemble an azata, and found that she could channel divine energy through her holy symbol for the first time. A troupe of crusaders (believing her to be corrupted by demonic influence) tried to apprehend her, but she laughed and escaped briskly into the town before they were able to take hold.

Kalla is a strikingly beautiful aasimar young woman with neat hair ties back in a traditional Kellid braid, a fine set of weapons and armor, and a bag laden with interesting gear to fight demons. She seems to be carrying more than her relatively slight frame could manage. Her hair and eyes change color with the whims of Pulura, but her facial features are that of a half-elven woman. She is usually smiling, and is friendly to a fault. She laughs at the dour meins of the paladins she has adventured with, and tries to bring brightness and positivity into her interaction with everyone. She is most comfortable at night in the presence of the open sky, and does not care for restrictive settings or spaces. She gets unreasonably angry when creature are detained unjustly (or even justly - she is prone to forgive all but the most egregious crimes). She believes that demons corrupt the otherwise harmless chaos that is life, and is dedicated to driving them from Golarion.

Kalla has found herself trapped with the party in the catacombs beneath Kenabres, and is concerned for the well-being is her family and others.

Character Notes:

I badly wanted to try to get half-elf to work, but there were some thematic spells I wanted which were tagged as being for Aasimar. I also realized that I could get part of my way to my background goal by taking into account the elfin nature of the Azata. This character will eventually take the Stargazer prestige class, which I have been interested in since I read it, and is very good at channeling (this AP is one of few where it seems to be rewarded).
