Shadowborn: Looking in the direction of the alley, Kalaya heeds Whisperwing's apprehension, softly speaking an arcane word the conjures four bobbing lantern lights around her casting more light into the surrounding shadows as she approaches the tavern as she keeps the alley in her line of sight.

Shadowborn: After a few seconds, Kalaya resumes her normal form, walking around the stone house as she takes it all in.
Staggered by the sheer size of what had to be the largest house she'd ever seen, in a town so large she couldn't even wrap her head around it, the young witch is truly at a loss for how to find her friends. "This must be the fabled Fardusk." she says aloud to Whisperwing as was her habit when they were alone. "Where was it Gabby said we should go? Six with Eight Tails....that's it! I guess we look for a grouping of people." she said moving down the street.

Shadowborn: As Whisperwing heads out, Kalaya reaches deep within calling upon all the potential knowledge that could lie within her grasp. In a burst of shadowy feathers, she turns into a Tiny blurred shape reminiscent of a black raven and flies out the open window.

Shadowborn: "It looks like whoever holds the key is long gone aren't they?" Kalaya says aloud to her companion wandering around the area before heading back to the window. Reaching up she releases the latch opening it up. "Okay Whisperwing you fly out and get a good view of this place, I'll be out right behind you."

Stumbling through the smoke, Kalaya sets her sights on the other eel, bringing the same malevolent will to bear on the creature she bends it's fortune. Misfortune HEX DC 15 or reroll all d20's and take lower for 1 round Mythic Hex:Your hexes are more effective against non-mythic targets. When you use a hex that requires a saving throw against a non-mythic target, that target is automatically affected for 1 round (which doesn't count toward the hex's duration) and can't attempt a saving throw to resist the hex. On your turn the next round, the creature attempts its saving throw as normal.

It should automatically be affected this round whether it made the save or not actually. Forgot Mythic Hex:Your hexes are more effective against non-mythic targets. When you use a hex that requires a saving throw against a non-mythic target, that target is automatically affected for 1 round (which doesn't count toward the hex's duration) and can't attempt a saving throw to resist the hex. On your turn the next round, the creature attempts its saving throw as normal. Which means it'll also affect the save. Unless of course this thing is mythic...in which case, never mind
