About Kaina
Kaina was the runt of the litter when he was born, and had to fight to survive ever since that day. It was only a few weeks after his birth that his mother noticed that the patterns of the fur on his face looked remarkably like the symbols of the ancient Osiriani gods. Even though she herself was no true believer, she realized that her smallest son had a destiny to serve Osirion. She was the only one who ever thought that Kaina was anything special though; every other person in his life has expected him to prove himself worthy of even the slightest consideration.
As Kaina grew from a small cub, his mother's convictions have led to a great sense of purpose for the young warrior. He has fully embraced the destiny his mother foresaw, and has committed his life entirely to the preservation and restoration of Osirion.
As he has grown older, Kaina has remained apart from the larger society of Osirion, but has found a degree of brotherhood from those who defend it from all which threaten it, and has every intention of someday befriending sphinxes and becoming a living monolith, so that he may better protect the nation.
Kaina's not certain about the notion of allowing Osirion's artifacts to be sold off to foreign collectors, but he is eager to join the efforts in Wati to recover those lost treasures. And he's certain that the Pharaoh knows best.
