Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) "We should secure our ship and make sure it hasn't been found by any hostiles. From there we send a message to the rebels so that even should anything happen they will know what we found here thus far...minus an old hermit seeking to hide from the galaxy. If our orders are unchanged we proceed with this new circumstance and look for weapons the rebellion can use, the stronger the better."
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore stares about at the broken droids frowning his mind flashing back to the battles and the war. "I do know much of the droids and how to fight them. Never expected to put that knowledge to use again though. As to why they are still active, I too would ask this man what he knows of this place. The droids being active here indicates forces at work in the facility. We should report this back to the rebellion and see what they want to do,"
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Seems very doable ruleswise, do you see merit to the idea? Obviously it goes noth ways, helping keep our soak from ever hitting godlike level of immunity from armor type items. Yet it would allow the potential to stack some thing like a personal forcefield and armor but get them broken down over multiple weaker 'miss' hits.
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Ciriousity, is there any precident for having soak that absorbs damage and is reduced for the next attack like ablative armor? Just thinking if shield just provide unlimited soak to anything not a special weapon type it would be impossible to weaken or wear it down. Same thing for physical armor taking hits. Maybe there is a threshold like if you are within 10 or 5 of the soak max but don't beat it the soak armor gets a penalty until repaired. If the penalty meets or exceeds the armor soak the shield/armor is broken. It would allow for less unkillable opponents with a flat soak that can't be hit, but still basically gives then a lot more 'health' as the soak buffs take the blows their health normally would. And if enough hits chip away than you can actually hurt them. In theory this would let you make minions with high soak that we could 'hit' but need to break through the soak a few times before we land a actually damage punch that kos them.

Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore runs forward dodging the fire of the slow Droidekas before suddenly throwing his full force into a Tera Kasi strike at the remaining Droid 3. -1D for TKM active. +2D attack, +1D Damage, -10 defense

Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Init: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 4) = 15 Kagore takes the center path while the Jedi split off to each side, his movements suddenly taking on a powerful speed and agility beyond his years. There is something almost familiar about it to some in the party as he attempts to charge inside the 3 droids range and make it impossible to target him without risking shooting themselves... Brawling activation check: 7d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 6, 3, 1, 2) = 24

Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Perception: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 3) = 13 The clone trooper has been silent judging the words and listening rather then speaking before he has had time to really understand what is being said. Studying the staff too he thinks he can spot the hidden lightsaber concealed in its design taking note of it. He looks the Hermit in the eyes and speaks, "There are many we killed at the command of the emperor during my service, Jedi included. Actions speak louder than words and your actions show that you have hidden here when the rebel alliance could have used your aid regardless of what you call yourself now. Make the ultimate sacrifice? I make the ultimate sacrifice ever single day when I choose to actually take a stand and fight the empire. Dying is easy. Living on when you want to die for the sins you've committed but knowing that would dishonor the memory of those who died...well I imagine you know something about that. Now if you have any more tests for us I suggest you get them over with then let us work on recovering these weapons." There is a challenge to Kagore's words as he stares hard into the old man's eyes almost as if he was calling him a coward without actually saying the words.
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore arches an eyebrow at Rufus surprised by the man's cautious attitude. "Remain alert at all times. If you perceive a threat notify us, but moving slowly will not necessarily negate or spot a trap/predator. Your scans showed no major threats so aside from automated defenses we should avoid paranoid thoughts for now. Ultimately we will vary our pace, but focusing on reaching our goal is priority."
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore equips himself, buckling into his atmor and utility belt and weapon harness. He steps out of the ship blaster carbine held at the ready but not pointed at any particular threat. "We have an hour of walking ahead and if we hustle we can cut that in half. Shame we lack personal speeders but if we are lucky there will be some transport vehicles at the cache if it exists. The rebellion really could use these weapons so lets get the job done. Work together, watch each others backs, no running off alone without checking in on comms ever 10 minutes."
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore addressed Gotal as Rufus expertly brought them toward the planet. "I wasn't one of the troopers assigned to this area. My batch were for special tactical ops, and we were constantly moving from system to system where we were needed. And when the...activation order came down I didn't have much choice...til Dana managed to help me override my control chip."
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore stares out the view screen with a pit in his stomach as the ship flys them toward the planet. He strangely felt stronger despite his age recently as if his focus on his arts had unlocked another part of himself. But the past still lingered...
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) If I do would need ST's help for knowledge. Kagore mostly kept to himself during the downtime though he would likely have enjoyed some conversations with Rufus, the most cavalier of the group. He didn't exactly avoid Colton during the month but there were times when Colton would enter a room and Kagore would make some excuse to go check on something or another. There was a tension between the two that seemed to only have grown without the threat of a ship exploding to keep them focused... Kagore gets a far off look in his eyes as Gotal brings up the past.
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore slowly emerges from the ship after they are well settled grumbling. "I hope these rebels don't sit around patting themselves on the back...the empire could have reinforcements on the way any time. Lets hurry up and get this pomp over with." He continues to grumble as they leave the ship to the cheers of the workers and guards.
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore felt uneasy despite there escape...still there had been a few moments there where his old body had reacted nearly as fast as in his prime, remembering the training his clone troop had been given by the then fledgling empire. He hit the commlink on the console near him speaking over to Rufus. "Good job Rufus for getting us clear...now we just need to complete our mission that Dana gave her life for..." Kagore looked over to meet the general's eyes.
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore shouts up to Rufus as the lift descended revealing the AT-ST to the guarding troopers. "Light these imperials up and lets get off this ship!" Mechanically gonna take Full Dodge action for +10 static defenses as my character charges around the troopers trying to fraw their fire from the more squishy general and wife etc. Kagore took off trying to draw fire to the left running as fast as he could across the hangar bay floor. His tired muscles protested but obeyed showing him that he wasn't ready to die on this floating can in space just yet. "Come on you brainwashed imperial dogs!"
Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore throws another grenade from cover. "You're even more delusional thrn you sound if you think we are gonna fight fair when you plan to take us all down! Go join your empire as it dies! Long live the rebellion!" Grenade: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 1, 3) = 11

Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore rushes to the side of the hangar clearing the space between the two ATs that now resembled a pair of gunslingers staring each other down across the hangar. Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) To save time since I'll go before the troopers again. Kagore had rushed in dodging shots as he moved between the troopers in a burst of speed that made his old body protest. Reaching out to grab the first troopers arm he pivoted his body pulling the trooper over his hip using the man's own armor against him as he came down hard onto the hangar bay floor. Slamming a foot down on the troopers's throat even as he gurgled his death rattle the old clone was on the move again. Another troopers blaster fired at him but he was not longer there, the close range making it nearly impossible for them to get a shot lined up. As the trooper turned to line up another shot he saw Kagore had already spun himself behind a second trooper and the man's head was at an impossible angle to the side from a brutal twisting motion. Then Kagore came on hard and fast to finish the job. Coming for the last two troopers only now Kagore is inside their range so only 2 actions needed this turn for -1D Attack 1: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5, 4, 5) = 19

Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18) Kagore rushes across the distance engaging the troopers in fast paced close combat knowing their only chance would be to use all their strengths and hold nothing back. Seeing Gotal headed for the control panel he shouted to Rufus. He mentally cursed the useless officer too though perhap he might be fodder drawing a few blaster shots... "Go for one of the unoccupied ATs! We'll buy some time and keep them busy but we'll need that firepower!" Targeting two troopers with a Triple action -2D for move, attack attack

The imperial officer had been quiet recently...perhaps too quiet. "Well imperial, make use of yourself and show the way to the lift." Kagore gripped his gun in both hands searching for threats but keeping the imperial in one corner of his eye.
