For what it's worth, Spheres is more flexible than Pathfinder. If you want some help with a Spherecaster (or just Sphere fighter) I'd be happy to.

It is crazy times. I just moved and my work situation has been crazy. Plus my kid's school during all the pandemic stuff.

This has been one of my favorite games in the past, but these days it seems there's not enough people to keep it going. Bad timing on people dropping out and the world blowing up.

I think if we want to save it, it might be best to narrate the closing of this chapter, recruit a couple of fresh faces, I'll bring back Solomon, and we can get into some trouble once again.

Ah, didn't catch the new round thing. I think you're right about the C4.

Kaelic channels again, warm light washing over those around him. "You might want to get behind some cover." Was all he could think to say before who-knows-what was about to happen. Would it work? Would it make a huge mess? Would there be a rain of dangerous debris? In a moment that mystery would be solved.

Kaelic decides to deal with this turtle problem head-on. "Cover me."
He then flies out towards the first turtle and begins to unpack some the C4 they'd been assigned to destroy the ship. Seems they wouldn't be needing it for that anymore. He makes sure to secure it somewhere that looks soft and not too close to the ship itself.
"I saw this on a movie once." He reassures.

Kaelic was just a split second too slow to miss the full force of the fireball, but luckily the caster's will was weak and the magic washed over him harmlessly. Dusting a bit of ash from his sleeve, Kaelic shot back at the mage with something a little more modern.

Kaelic knelt down and fired an automatic burst at one of the mages that looked less irritated by Jennifer than the others. Not just because he probably resisted her spell, but because if he had to put up with Jennifer then so would they. Or else bullets.

The cold iron rounds made him shiver, but he was glad to be sending them downrange instead of having it the other way around.

Autofire: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18, Damage: 2d8 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
If that hits by +5 or more, I get another 2d8. I'm assuming that's against touch AC. Cold iron rounds. -4 if not proficient.

He brandished Izami and began to summon up magic, light and winds stirring up around him.
Re-casting my buffs and laying on hands on myself to top up HP. I think everyone else is full. Otherwise I might channel in the infirmary. Same amount of healing for me either way.

"Didn't we pass by a ship on the way here that we didn't explore? And has anyone checked the hold of the Blackwing?" Kaelic pondered aloud in hopes that someone had a better picture of what was going on. "I bet we can find another part and finish this artifact. I'm not sure if that's actually smart, but..." He trailed off. He didn't really like messing with magical artifacts, but they didn't have a lot of options here. That crew needed to get home.
