I am DMing RotRL in 4th edition using Scott's Tales from the Rusty Dragon conversion. It's my first serious foray into DMing, and I'm a little nervous about the first session tomorrow.
My party consists of:
Matathias Lorath, Dragonborn Inspiring Warlord (Great backstory: Abandoned as an infant and raised in the Sandpoint Orphanage until moving to Magnimar to train as a soldier. Returned to help catch Chopper five years ago. Has since mustered out and helps at the orphanage and school. Looking forward to his discovery that the villains of the piece are his playmates from childhood. Hired on as extra security at the dedication. Played by the guy who usually DMs for our group, so I'm hoping he gets a good impression.)
Althaea, Eladrin Wizard (Young and sheltered scholar traveling to Sandpoint in order to see the world and study the Old Light. About to get caught up in Events.)
Mialee, Elf Warden (Hired by sheltered scholar's family as a bodyguard. Left elf lands to search for a sister who began adventuring years ago.)
??? Varisian Human Bard (Itinerant wandering minstrel, in town because festivals mean tips. Am so throwing Shayliss at him.)
Rolan Bitterleaf, Half-Elf Warlock (10-year-old orphan, parents killed in the Sandpoint Fire, by Sczarni looters working ahead of the blaze. Made a desperate infernal pact in enough time to avenge them, and since keeps to himself trying and largely failing to control his abilities. I think he created a child just to drive me insane. I've told him I'm ruling him as a small character. Should make interaction with authority interesting..."You're going where? To kill what? Do you need us to arrange you someone to watch the little guy?")
