I would let it go if it weren't for the fact that I want to know where it got that fire bead, and if it was related to those golems that burned down the garden. Yeesh.

And hopefully it isn't dumb enough to try to kill our mount when we are both 20 feet above the street.

The chameleon should be able to carry both of us, but will be somewhat encumbered, so probably no big flying leaps. :( If the goblin is sufficiently bound that it can't mount, Jumana will pull it across the saddle. But that will mean having to put away the wand.

Jumana briefly considers the merits of stabilizing the chameleon, before deciding that taking down the surprisingly capable goblin takes priority. After all, given it's apparent animosity to animals, healing the lizard might merely encourage the goblin to be more thorough.

Instead, Jumana dismounts on the far side of the gecko.

Fast dismount fail, dismount becomes a move action, does not provoke.

and attempts to put another arrow into the goblin.

The ranger can make a single melee attack at his highest base attack bonus against the creature who attacked his ally. (Hunter Companions can take Ranger (Skirmisher) tricks. In this case "the ranger" is the chameleon.

Jumana urges the Chameleon carefully around the burned people and into melee combat with the annoying little goblin urchin. Being careful to stay above the goblin where possible.

Jumana was still digesting Ebrylis's answer when a *blue* goblin sails out the window. How curious, I thought goblins were green. Followed by Ruarthan's shout.

Instead of going back down the wall, Jumana rides his Chameleon across the roof tops, pacing the fleeing figure below and trying to get far enough ahead to come down in front of it.

Mechanically, Full round action to challenge both obstacles, and attempt to leap ahead three cards. Hoping for at least a +5 on the acrobatics, which would guarantee I don't lose my turn. But being greedy anyway. Dice rolls below do not include the +X for having a climb speed.

Jumana mounts up, and seems more comfortable on the Chameleon's back than he did leaning against it. As they ride after the guard, Jumana fastens a somewhat complicated set of straps and latches on the saddle, itself a bit of a strange contraption. Outside the pair tend to follow above and behind their guide, with the chameleon scrambling up the sides of buildings and scampering along the tops.
