Hi everyone,

Goodman Games has launched its first Pathfinder project! Maximum Xcrawl is live now as a Kickstarter. In Xcrawl, you're a superstar athlete in a death sport dungeon live-on-pay-per-view! This is the Pathfinder update of the Ennie-nominated "Best D20 Game" from the 3E era.

If you'd like to learn more, check out the Kickstarter at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1409961192/maximum-xcrawl-powered-by-p athfinder

We have racked up a half-dozen stretch goals so far. A $40 pledge for the hardcover now includes full-color endsheet art, two free adventure modules, a pack of character folios, a pad of statistics sheets, an NPC pack…and probably some other things I'm forgetting!

Hello everyone,

Goodman Games is in need of an experienced editor with Pathfinder experience. I'm looking for someone who has edited RPG products, has talents with the prose editing necessary for a large core book, and who is also an expert at the Pathfinder rules. Experience editing adventure modules is also a plus. This is for a paid editing assignment, and could ultimately lead to ongoing work. If you are interested, please contact me at the address below.

Thanks,
Joseph

Thanks for the kind words. DCC RPG is a game with a specific "point of view," and while the core rules appeal to many, I do acknowledge that it may not be the game for everyone. But DCC RPG is only "step one" in the plan. "Step two" is a whole bunch of awesome modules! DCC RPG monster stats are quite simple and easily interpreted into other systems based on the same 3E gene pool. Some of the guys on our forums have actually run on-the-fly module conversions between DCC RPG and Pathfinder, and they reported that the monster stats converted over easily in-game. For those of you who enjoyed the 3E DCC modules, you may also enjoy the DCC modules coming in 2012. You can check out the first 8 of them on our web site.
