True he does pit some of his catches against each other for the enjoyment of the tribe, but the bigger ones he takes on himself, then offers its bloody corpse to Queen Syrreth personally. Remember, his goal is to be a worthy mate to her someday.

Alright, I've more or less got the stats nailed down, but I'm having a bit of a time with the backstory. So far, my leading idea is Joomoo is the tribe's premier animal tamer/champion gladiator. He periodically puts on an exhibition of him taking on various critters that he captures and trains. It seems a bit of a weak premise to me, but I'm not fully done fleshing it out yet. Who knows, perhaps I'll come up with something completely different later.
